For my Dear Friend K

This short post is for a dear friend of mine ‘K’, I won’t say his name out loud but he knows who he is. He is one of the nicest human beings I have ever had the privilege to meet and someone I’m proud to call my friend. He, has unfortunately lost his way a little over this past couple of years, he has faced challenges and extreme pressures both financially and mentally from his family, manage squabbles between family members and deal with his own turbulent relationship issues all at the same time. These challenges have been a massive drain on his health and his spiritual wellbeing which have led him on a downward spiral abusing his body through lack of decent nutrition and excesses of drugs and alcohol which numb his feelings and help him get through the long days and even longer lonely nights.

Last night I witnessed him loosing control of the physical plain, it was very frightening for him, for me and for all the other friends who witnessed him fading out of control whilst under the influence of some drug or other he took which his body must have reacted to badly, and for a few split seconds I honestly thought we had lost him but I held on to him and helped him back to reality with a simple hand on his shoulder. He regained consciousness and came back to us within a few minutes.

‘K’ is not alone, even though he may think so….there are always people out there who love you, who care for you and want you to be part of their lives.

_/\_ Namaste my friends,  please say a prayer and send some loving energy to ‘K’ (My dear friend) and to anyone else out there who like ‘K’ who are hurting tonight.

Love
Mark

  • We need each other. I am happy you and your friends were there for K. Knowing someone cares makes all the difference in the world. May your friend find his way back.

    Love, light and blessings

  • Mark, I am glad you were there for K — love is the most healing antidote to the cocktail of negative emotions that fuels addiction.

I recently posted a 9-part blog post on Addiction titled DEMON OF ECLIPSES & ILLUSIONS — please check it out if you can spare a moment — miraprabhu.wordpress.com.

  • You would be surprised but a loving touch can do more for a person than any shamanic tool… I have already experienced people thinking I performed a miracle for a person (in crisis), when I was actually simply (and lovingly) holding her hand… Thinking of you and K, xox
