Hello my dear friends,
I wanted to share an event we held in Shanghai last Saturday evening, the event was all about communication, friendship, fun, creativity and teamwork.
We had about 60 people there ranging from young children of 5-12 and adults ranging from 18 to 60+ and from all walks of life, education level and business title.
The purpose was to create a masterpiece, something to be proud of, a painting to bring smiles to all our faces through communication and fun.
The following image was the picture we wanted to create.
Each person was given a canvas, an easel, paint brushes, paints and a 6 x 4 inch piece of the final painting which was cut down into about 60 pieces. Each person was put in a team of about 6 people and each person needed to create what was on their 6 x 4 inch piece of the paining on their own canvas.
Once everyone had finished we put all the individual paintings together to create this wonderful masterpiece.
The evening was fantastic, smiles were on everyones faces, lighter could be heard everywhere, people were communicating the old fashioned way…verbally..face to face 🙂
A great way to have fun!
I hope you enjoy

This is such an uplifting activity! I’ve never heard of this before but think it would be a great thing for schools to participate in. Each classroom could do it as a form of bonding exercise with classmates. Interesting to see each person’s interpretation of what they were asked to do. Your blog is having a positive influence on many! 🙂
Thank you almostakiss, your final sentence brought a tear of joy to my eyes. Your following and your comments as so appreciated 🙂
Please recommend me to your friends if you think my blog will help them 🙂

Thanks Michael 🙂 If only we could do this all around the world….Imagine, just Imagine what it would do for Happiness!
nice idea 🙂
Thank you Maryam
Genuine, non digital communication! What a concept! Nice to see it still exists, question, how did you attach the canvases to the boards to make the final product?
