Small acts of kindness multiplied by millions of people can transform our world

Small Acts

May the love and light in our hearts glow, light the hearts of our brothers and sisters, and may it strengthen our peace, happiness and love on earth. May nature be a witness of light and love and may God hear our roar : )

Together as one, we can make a difference to the happiness and peace in our world.

Giving out a smile to someone who has lost theirs.

Giving a helping hand.

Just being there for someone who needs some love.

My dear friends be the light today and allow your brightness to shine on the shadows of others around you. Hold out your hands to them and share some joy and happiness.

Namaste with Love

Sow some seeds of Love

Published 26/08/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

When we genuinely wish another person love, wellness and happiness we are creating good Karma and sowing the seeds of long term Peace and Happiness. Just think! – If every person in the world took just ten minutes to wish another person peace and happiness, then for ten minutes this world would be crime and violence free for those ten minutes!

Kindness Cards and Wish Cards are ways by which we can sow the seeds of peace and create the flow of Good Karma in our lives. I just love watching the face of somebody light up like just-switched-on-Christmas-tree lights when I send them a Wish Card or Kindness Card with simple words like ‘I’m Thinking of You each and everyday’, I wish your days are filled with Love and Happiness’, ‘Peace and Joy my Friend’, ‘My Love for you is Endless’, ‘I’m always with you’, ‘Our Hearts, Minds and Souls are Connected every minute of everyday’…and so on.

The gift of Happiness is one of the most precious gifts we are able to give another human being and even more when another contemplates what has just happened to them and then wants to pass on the gift to yet another person. This is gift is the heart of the Mindfulness. In meditation we become Mindful of the suffering, pain, disappointment and despair of others and cause this to dissolve our self-cherishing/ego nature – a bit like an effervescent soluble aspirin dissolving in a glass of water. Then we imagine ourselves to be a Wishing Jewel wishing the causes and conditions of happiness for others. For a split moment when we take on the suffering of another and become the wishing jewel we dissolve another piece of the self-cherishing part of ourselves; which locks us into our own cocoon of despair and unhappiness. Why don’t you create a set of Wish Cards that you can send on to your family and friends? Send them via text or video message and watch the joy that they create ☺ Go on…give it a try, sow some seeds of Peace and Good Karma today.

I wish you all, love, joy and lives filled with deep Happiness.

Peace: It’s in everyone’s heart!

Or is it?

When we are born, we are innocent, we are at peace, we are love, we are compassion, and there is no hate, no greed, no envy, and no spite, just PEACE.

So what goes wrong?

From day one we watch and learn.

The love and the peace slowly get’s knocked out of us by our parents, our siblings, our families, our friends, our teachers, our neighbors, our supervisors, our leaders, our peers, by our governments and society.

Deep down, Love and Peace is there; it is STILL in our hearts, we just need to go deep inside and find it and it can be done! We can be at peace with ourselves, with others and with the world.

So who am I to say anything about Peace and Love…Well I’m nobody, I’m just a man, a husband, a father, a friend, a business leader, a peer…someone who cares! Someone with passion, someone who wants to make a difference to this world, someone who wants to see this world change for the better, someone who wants to see peace in his lifetime, someone who wants to see smiles on peoples faces, someone who wants to see the end of famine, someone who wants to see the environment heal, someone who wants to swim in the ocean with out the fear of pollution, someone who wants to see the end to endless greed by the few at the expense of the many, someone who wants to see justice done to the so called leaders of this world who continue to take and give nothing in return……Where will it all end, and can I make a difference?

Lao Tzu shared these quotes with us and I think he any many other sage’s, God’s and Masters left us with words that we have forgotten, like we have forgotten that WE  STILL HAVE PEACE AND LOVE in our HEARTS:-

  • ‘The Journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step”
  • “A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.”
  • “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.”
  • “The truth is not always beautiful, nor beautiful words the truth.”
  • “Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to.”“Be content with what you have;
  • “Rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.”
  • “A man with outward courage dares to die; a man with inner courage dares to live.”
  • “Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.”
  • “At the center of your being you have the answer; you know who you are and you know what you want.”
  • “Stop thinking, and end your problems.”
  • “Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.”
  • “Manifest plainness, Embrace simplicity, Reduce selfishness, Have few desires.”
  • “Act without expectation.”
  • “If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.”
  • “To lead people, walk beside them …As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. The next best, the people honor and praise. The next, the people fear; and the next, the people hate …When the best leader’s work is done the people say,We did it ourselves!”
  • “I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.”
  • “Because of a great love, one is courageous.”
  • “Your own positive future begins in this moment. All you have is right now. Every goal is possible from here.”
  • “If a person seems wicked, do not cast him away. Awaken him with your words, elevate him with your deeds, repay his injury with your kindness. Do not cast him away; cast away his wickedness.”
  • “If you want to know me, look inside your heart.”

I just want to finish this short post with these words OF WISDOM…

“Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.”
Gautama Buddha

Bird upon a feather lands
Tree upon a mountain stands
Tumbled shells grace ocean sands
Within Mother Earth’s loving hands

If only we as individuals and collectively as a human race could be more conscious of our own being, of our own surroundings and collectively as a species, I’m sure we would start to get along together so much better and we would put this world back on track to peace and civility and live in harmony with all living things.

Inner Peace

Unless and until we have peace deep within us, we can never hope to have peace in the world. You and I create the world by the vibrations that we offer to it. If we can invoke peace and then offer it to somebody else, we will see how peace expands from one to two persons, and gradually to the world at large. Peace will come about in the world from the perfection of individuals. If you have peace, I have peace, he has peace, and she has peace, then automatically universal peace will dawn.
