Lost then Found
Lost in the spinning vortex of my mind
Thoughts rushing around like clothes in a washing machine
Thought after thought, never ending
Where do I begin, what do I do
Time stands still as my thoughts take control
I’m going nowhere fast
It’s like I’m standing at the crossroads of my life
Stuck, no idea which way to go
How do I break free, know which road to choose
Is it left, is it right or is it straight ahead
My life is in tatters as my mind keeps telling me
You’r useless, no use to anyone
I’m tired, I’m lonely, I’m sad with my life
Is my mind right or can I break free
Free from these chains holding on to me
Show me the light to please set me free
From a flicker to a flame
The light breaks the darkness of my life
The shadows begin to disappear
And new life blooms in front of my eyes
New life, new beauty, new focus
Beyond the shadows and darkness is life
Life for you, a new day is dawning
Breaking free now and rushing forth
On to tomorrow, setting myself free
Living in the now as it’s meant to be
Understanding self, whom I’m meant to be
A joy, at last now I know who I am
A being of light, a son, a brother, a husband, a friend
In service to humanity
At peace with the world
Seeing joy and in gratitude for each day
Love, peace and kindness to all beings

Unfolding My Wings, I Fly.

Freedom of mind leaves me with peace, the true peace, tranquility and happiness meant for my life here on Earth within this lifetime.
Freeing my mind and it’s torturous ways and the bindings of thought that hold me back from reaching my full potential. I am a divine being, I am light, I am love, I am one with God and my mind will no longer hold me prisoner within this lifetime.
My destiny is in my own hands, my future happiness is within my control, my mind will no longer play a part in my life because I have chosen to take back the controls and broken free of its grasp, I cut myself free from its bindings and will live my life in happiness with grace and ease.
Today, a new day, a day to be thankful for, a new dawning has given rise to my birthing, the birthing of the new me, a refreshed me, a being of light whose wings of freedom have been bound in the past, hidden from my view, but these wings are now free, they are open and ready to take flight, to soar high into the light, above the clouds that cast darkness on humanity, to take me to new pastures, and a new beginning.
I give thanks for all that I am,
I give thanks for all I will be.

Today We Pray For The Victims of Domestic Abuse

My Dear Friends,
Domestic abuse, most often brushed under the carpet, locked behind the doors of the home, never spoken about, hidden behind shaking smiles in the hope that one day it will be ok and everything will go back to the time before the abuse started to happen!….
Unfortunately, in most cases, the abuse never stops, in most cases the abuse escalates to even higher levels, often the abuse moves over from one family member to others and sometimes even continues across generations, when the abused become the abuser !
Today, I pray for all the victims of abuse. Abuse can come in many forms, physical abuse, mental abuse, sexual abuse, confinement abuse etc.
No one, No one deserves to be abused!
No one should be treated without respect!
No one should have to live in fear!
No one……No one.
If you are in a situation of abuse, then its time to speak out…..
If you know someone who is abusing others then it’s time for you to speak out….
If you know someone who is being abused, then it’s time for you to speak out….
Let’s make this world a better place for all to live, without the fear, without the pain….living as we all should, living with love and happiness!

Love’s rule is one,
Man’s rules are many.
Delusion and pain are a tangle of rules
While peace has no limitation.
When fear speaks
Happiness becomes pain
And desperately people cling
To straws of sorrow.
Their left hands use magic
To repel dark spirits,
And with their fright
They invite them in again.
What is pain
But Love unexpressed?
Be unshakable
But not obstinate;
Embrace fear
But do not affirm it;
Feel pain
But do not believe it.

Freedom, such a small word, but what does it mean to you?

What constitutes freedom in one country may be far different to that in another.
Am I free?……Am I Really Free?
In many countries, freedom of speech is not even thought of because you can most often do and say what you like, its your right to get up on your pedestal and speak your mind, you can talk freely about politics, government, the monarchy in some countries, human rights…all without a worry regarding repercussion.
But in some countries, freedom means so much more, the simple freedom to be able to go outside without the fear of being killed by militia or other warring factions, the freedom to be able to draw water and drink it freely without the thought of catching a disease or suffering from severe dysentery. The freedom to speak out against the rules of the land, to stand up for your basic human rights, the freedom to pray to your god without the fear of persecution, the freedom to have a choice to eat or not eat today, the freedom to choose your own partner and not be forced into a marriage of convenience or by family arrangement, the freedom to be gay and marry if you want to, the freedom to travel across borders and be with your loved ones once again, the freedom to feel comfortable in your own color of skin, the freedom to receive education even if you are a girl, the freedom to go outside without the fear of being raped because you are a girl, freedom to access the internet free of restrictions, the freedom to earn the same as your male colleagues, the freedom to dress as you like, the right to freedom of thought, conscience, religion and belief.
So what does freedom really mean to you and can you help others around the world that are far less fortunate than you?
I live and work in a country where freedom of speech is controlled, where access to the wonderful rich world of the internet is restricted and controlled, where human rights are not so important, where freedom of religion is controlled, where the rich get richer at the expense of the poor, where food is tainted by chemicals and the chance of repercussions for speaking out are high…but am I free? Yes I’m free, at least I have a choice, I can find a way, I will speak out in the hope that one day we will come together as one world, one world working together as free spirits for the good of mankind.

Rest in knowing you don’t control anything whatsoever and nothing actually belongs to
you in any particular way. If those two reminders are taken to heart and fully absorbed into
the depths of your being, a life of peace and freedom remains obvious and ever present.
