Is the mess in our world only God’s problem?

My Dear Friends,

I came across this image this morning and thought…Wow!…

Isn’t that the truth?…Is poverty, famine, greed, war, disease, injustice in our world only God’s problem?

Should we wait for him/her to deal with it for us, or, should we stand up and be counted?…..Actually get up off our butt’s and do something about the problems in our world!

We are after all, guardians of this planet, guardians for our future, for the future of our children. We all have an obligation to take ownership of what goes on in our world, we are all part of humanity, we are all part of the problem and the possible solution….We are stronger than we think, we can do something about these problems and issues, we can make change, we can stop greed, we can stop injustice, we can stop starvation, we can ALL make a difference and change the future….

We are but a grain of sand amongst billions of other grains of sand, but we are all ‘One’, we all come from the same seed of creation and we owe it to ourselves, to our brothers and sisters of humanity, we owe it to our ancestors, we owe it to our children, we owe it to our grandchildren, we owe it to OURSELVES!

Today is the day for you to sit up, look in the mirror and say “I am part of the problem and, I am part of the solution’ and ‘I can make a difference to this world, our world’..

Go on my friends, do a pledge to yourself, stand up and be counted and be a part of the change you want to see in this ‘Our’ world 🙂 Then go out and actually do something! Join a peace group, help out in a homeless shelter, sign a petition, stop using a product or buying food, drink or fuel from the companies that are polluting our planet, poisoning our children, draining our natural water systems, taking advantage of low wages and not paying their taxes. Stand up for yourself, for your family, for your future 🙂

Revolution of Love

Published 05/11/2015 by inspiringyourspirit

My Dear Friends,

Please take a few minutes out of your busy and hectic schedule to watch this wonderful short video by Marianne Williamson, and although this video was written by an American for an American audience, the video is certainly pertinent for all countries across the globe. Yes, our world is slowly changing, we are standing up and taking notice of what is happening in and to our world and WE CAN all make a difference and help this change happen quicker.

Enjoy,

Honestly People, It Is Time That There Was No ‘Us and Them’!

My Dear Friends,

It is about time that we came to the conclusion that there should not be a ‘Us and Them’ in our world, after all we are all humans and we all come from the same genes! Yes, we have different colours, languages, religions, belief systems and cultures, we live in different parts of the world, eat different foods but at the end of the day…We are all humans!…..

So, 2,000 and 15 years since the death of Christ and we are still waging wars, we are still trying to get one up on each other, we lie, cheat, steal from each other and we kill and maim each other in the belief that ‘We’ are best, ‘We’ are number 1….but as I said earlier, ‘we are all humans’ and it is about time that we came to realise that we should be in this together because there is only ‘1 Humanity’ and there is only ‘1 World’…So…

Let’s for once, get our act TOGETHER…..

Love, peace and happiness to you all.

Ask Yourself Why?…Then Ask Your Government Why?

Why Oh Why is it so easy to manufacture guns of death and sell them all around the world , when it is so difficult for these same governments to buy books and give them to our children?

Why Oh Why is it that making tanks, missiles, drones, land mines and war planes so easy but building a school is so difficult?

Great questions from Malala Yousafzai, such a young girl who has gone through so much torture and pain in her life.

It’s about time ‘WE’ collectively stood up and asked these questions of our so called politicians and governments, those very politicians and governments that we have voted for and elected into these positions of power, and push them for answers, real answers, not spin or delayed responses or sidetracked answers regarding jobs and the economy……or under the disguise of National Security…..

We need change in our world, we need collective change, change that can and will bring about peace in our lifetime, change that makes it safe for our children and the same change for children of mothers and fathers just like us in other countries all around the world ! …Don’t forget, we maybe from different countries, we may have different languages, cultures, colour of skin and religions but, …WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS, we all want the same.

So for once, lets get together and push for PEACE and Education for ALL.

You Have Two Hands, One For Helping Yourself, The Other For Helping Others.

Very powerful words from Audrey Hepburn, and the picture of her carrying and helping a starving child makes us realise how important these simple words are.

“You have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others”

I now realise that this doesn’t just apply to people in underdeveloped countries, to the homeless, to victims of war, poverty and strife, this also applies to people in our own countries, in our own neighbourhoods that are suffering right now, suffering from injustice, from race hatred, from exploitation (being paid less than the minimum wage), from lack of funds to educate their children, from lack of funds to heal their sick child or gain medical support for their own health in order to keep them working so they can pay their own way in life.

We do have two hands, we have two eyes and we have two ears but so often we fail to reach out and offer a hand in support of our brothers and sisters, we close our eyes to the injustice that we see each and everyday, we close our ears when we hear people crying out for help, or when we hear someone abused by others and we close our mouths when its time for us to speak out in favor of these brothers and sisters around the world that ARE being exploited, badly treated and victimised by the corporates, the governments, the media and the blindfolded biggots of our world who want to keep us in our place, downtrodden for their own gain, to fuel their fires and to grow their wealth, and when we break down they toss us aside and get someone else to take our place who is as desperate as us to earn a living..and so the cycle of mistreatment continues.

Honestly, I’m appalled at what I see in the media, on the news. Of course social media allowing flashes of reality to get to us through Twitter etc, sharing with us the realities of what is really going on all around us, giving us real time information on the police brutalities in our own countries, showing us peaceful demonstrations of employees who cannot afford to get welfare because of their low income whilst their companies are constantly in the fortune top 100 and their executives and shareholders earn millions of dollars. Where whole communities are being driven out of cities which were built on the sweat and blood of their families because they can no longer afford to rent a house in these cities where in some cases many generations have lived. My own daughter is caught up in the same situation, she studied for her degree in London, for 4 years she paid her way through University, she worked hard in two jobs whilst studying and each year she had to move further and further out of London, further away from her University due to the rapidly rising cost of renting property to the point of living in terrible housing conditions without heat in the far flung extremities of London, all the time whilst the rich buy the properties and rent and sell to the rich… so London in this case has very few Londoners now because they cannot afford to live there….

My Dear Friends, we have some serious problems in our world which need addressing, we should stop pointing the blame elsewhere, we should stop listening to the biased media that control our minds on behalf of the corporates and corrupt government officials, we should look at what’s going wrong in our neighbourhood, we should stand up for each other, we should hold out a hand to support our brothers and sisters, we should listen to their cries for help and we should come together with one voice and speak out for what we should all be entitled to and that is simple…

  • Freedom of speech,
  • The right to stand up for our own human rights,
  • Work for an honest days wage in order to place food on our table and afford a roof over our heads
  • Education for all
  • Medical care for all
  • And live in a world that is free from hatred because of color, race or religious belief

So, my dear friends, when you look at the picture above, please remember your brothers and sisters, your own community, your own countrymen that are also suffering from these atrocities…

Lets make a difference

War, It’s Not Just A Game On A Computer Consul or Mobile Phone!

Published 05/08/2014 by inspiringyourspirit

In a world where war is just a video game to some, it’s perhaps worth taking time to remember the true cost of war.
在当今世界,战争对于一些人来说只不过是视频游戏,而对于战争的真正代价可能会需要时间铭记在心。

poppies-8

This weekend saw the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I, which over 4 years, grew to claim the lives of over 9’000’000 (Yes thats 9 Million) service personnel from countries around the world. During WWI, across Europe, the flower of the red poppy became a symbol for remembering all those lost in War. As part of the commemorations this weekend in London, British artist Paul Cummings placed 888’246 ceramic flowers around the Tower of London – one flower for each soul lost from countries around what was then the British Empire.

Here are some images of the exhibition.

The poppy is a way of not forgetting the sacrifice of those who didn’t return home to their loved ones because of War and whilst we should never forget the price they paid, we should also look forward and remember that with a little more understanding, kindness and love for those of us who walk the Earth with us today, we could potentially have less need for more poppies in the future.

It’s now 2014, 100 years on since the start of what they called “The Great War’, and I can still see no real progress, there have been over 260 major wars fought around the world since 1918 the end of World War 1 and they still rage on, mainly due to Religion or Greed by governments and corporations to control natural resources.

Now is the time to really step back and look at these pictures, every one of those red poppies represents a soldier killed in that 1 war alone, I wonder how many have fallen since? What would that picture look like and how far would the poppies go? A frightening thought my friends!………….Here is the reality of that frightening thought……….

The Big Club, Only The Elite Few May Join!

Published 01/07/2014 by inspiringyourspirit

Owned & Operated.

Hi Everyone, If you have not seen this video then please take the time to clear 1 hour and 40 minutes from your schedule, it’s so worth it and it tells some hard facts about our world and how we are being manipulated and controlled.

Please take the time, I promise, you will be enlightened and it will be time well worth spending for your future.

The Big Club, Only The Elite Few May Join!

• Nobody tells me what to do or say!
• We don’t want intelligent people; we want obedient workers who do what they are told!
• We are taking from working families who are struggling to survive taking hundreds of billions of dollars and giving it to millionaires and billionaires!

The crisis, especially now is a crisis of human consciousness, a crisis that cannot anymore accept the old norms. It seems to me, though man has cultivated the external world and has more or less mastered it; inwardly he is still as he was.

During the video a reporter asked a question of a New York Trader re the recent global economic disaster, as follows:-

• Reporter: ‘Can you pin down exactly what would make investors happy and make them feel more confident’?
• Trader: “Ahh, that’s a tough one, umm, see I’m a trader, I really don’t care about that kind of stuff, I go with….., If I see a opportunity to make money, I go with that, so, for the most traders its not about!!. We don’t really care that much how they are going to fix the economy, how they are going to fix the whole situation, our job is to make money from it!
What!…Come on, this is still happening people! We are still trusting these same people and same companies to run our lives, take our money and control or future and our demise!

• There are none who are so enslaved as those who falsely believe themselves to be free!
• Never believe that a few caring people can’t change the world….for indeed, that’s all who ever have!
• You exist but do you live?
• Maybe it’s not always about trying to fix something that’s broken; maybe it’s about starting over and creating something better!
• Our species is so divided………
• The earth is the common heritage for everyone to share, not for us all to just dive in and take what we want, but for us to intelligently manage our planet!

The future rests in our hands, YOURS and MINE! It’s what we do that will make and define our future.

What will YOU do to save the Earth today?

We need to use the power of ‘Empathy’ to connect our world together as one voice for Earth 1 Voice for Humanity.

The World Believes What The Media Wants them To Believe

OMG, Was George Orwell Right?

I have been taking more of an interest on the media’s manipulation of the masses just lately and I’m horrified at what I see, I knew it was bad but I had no idea it was as far reaching as it is. It came to light more so today when one of my Twitter followers tweeted that ‘The Chinese Communist Leaders should not be trusted’, well, I’m obviously not going to comment on that one due to where I live, however I did reply to that statement simply saying ‘Politicians and politics in any country should not be trusted’! and please stop blaming one country for the problems in our world!

We must, if we want to see change happen and see a possible way towards world peace; start working together as one race, and not in a competition against each other for supremacy and power. We must find a way to form media outlets that speak for humanity not on behalf of the powerful global corporations, the rich, the famous or on behalf of one country over another.

Here are a couple of links that really surprised me

http://www.alternet.org/media/6-biggest-media-lies-and-distortions-week this talks about 6 of the Biggest Media Lies and Distortions of the Week—Matt Lauer’s Suck Up to Power Edition

http://www.alternet.org/tea-party-and-right/6-totally-bonkers-right-wing-utterances-week-world-cup-evil-obama-plot the link says it all !

http://www.alternet.org/drugs/why-are-government-and-big-pharma-ignoring-heroin-addiction-vaccine , yes, what are they ignoring it?

There is a movement globally towards world peace, we just need to start listening to the right channels to find out more and stop watching and reading the media that is trying very successfully to control our lives.

What does your reflection say about you?

reflection

Me or We?

Self or Selfless?

I or Us?

Do you consider others or just yourself?

Money for me or money for us!

For the benefit of me or for the benefit of us!

I’m ok..So who cares about them!

My country is safe…they are not my problem!

I have food on my table so…….

My house is warm and dry so……

My water is clean and safe to drink so……

My children are safe so……

My children are at school and being educated so…..

I can sleep at night safely so…..

Many people all around OUR world are not safe tonight, they won’t have shelter to protect them from the storm and keep them warm and dry, they wont have food on their table and clean safe water to drink, tomorrow their children wont have a school to go to, no education available and they will be in FEAR for their lives…Can they get through another long cold night and if so, can they make it safely through another day of torture and torment!

Be mindful of what you have in your life, give thanks for all you have and remember ‘life is good for some, but not for all’!

Coming Together to Save our World

Published 26/07/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

together

Were in the year of our Lord 2013 (that’s 2,013 years since the death of Christ) a time in which all time relates, give or take a few years due to local cultures and religious beliefs such as the Mayan calendar and the Nongli Calendar etc..

and our world is still surrounded by War, Famine, Racial conflicts, Political Conflicts, Religious conflicts, territorial conflicts, extreme poverty, homelessness, Greed, Disease, Genocide, Environmental catastrophes one after another, pollution on land and sea, ego and money driven companies raping and pillaging what ever they can through their business ventures and driving down their costs through the exploitation of their employees and their suppliers which in turn puts many small companies out of business and places many poorly paid employees either out of work or on benefits which are then paid for by our taxation, which then in turn helps these huge corporations make even higher annual profits and allows their CEO’s and top executives to have even higher salaries, bonuses and gain even more power in this world!

Why oh why do we find it so hard to come together as human beings? We are after all; all connected, we are all related, we are brothers and sisters of this world, we have unfortunately just forgotten these facts! We are so caught up and too busy with our own lives, our own thoughts, our own desires and pushing forward for our own benefit that we forget that we are one and we were meant to work together for the greater good of all!

handstogether

Together we can make a difference to our world, we can help raise awareness to the problems in our local area, to our local region, to our country and to other countries throughout the world. We can come together to form peace, we can come together to eradicate poverty and make sure everyone in this world has the basic necessities of life; safety, food and shelter, we can come together for the benefit of humanity and clean up our planet so we have a safe and healthy environment for future generations to survive and to live in…We can make a change! but in order to make this change we MUST come together, we must forget the past, we must transgress over politics and religions and come together as human beings. This transformation can start with one voice, one voice becomes two, two voices become three and so on and with compassion and love in our hearts we can make change.

The basic necessities of life being Safety, shelter and food should be easy enough to do, if we can come together and force the powers at be in each country to stop all their BS (Bull S**t), stop wasting our money on their own political and personal power games and on their mansions, multiple holiday homes, fancy cars and yachts and start paying back to humanity for all they have in their lives. If each of them gave only 1% of their annual income or accumulated wealth, we could radically change this world, we could end starvation and start to bring about real change.

I’m not an activist by any means, I am a really peaceful, spiritual person who dearly cares for this world and for all humanity. I would like to see change happening during my lifetime and really see the start of something special, the change towards compassionate living and love towards all our global brothers and sisters.

One day and one person at a time and we can change this world 🙂

Universal Responsibility

Universal Responsibility.

What do we really want to acheive in this life?

Do you want safe water for everyone to drink?

Do you want safe and healthy food for you and your children to eat?

Do you want an end to infant deaths from disease?

Do you want to be able to walk the streets and feel safe?

Are you fed up with all the suffering going on around the world?

Do you feel sick to your stomach when you see animals being persecuted and pushed out of their natural habitats in the pursuit of progress and riches for the few?

Do you want to see an end to War?

This list could go on and on….How much longer can we sit here and do nothing?…

We can make a change, a change for the better!

Our voices must be heard, we need to do our part and take ownership and responsibility as individuals to call the powers to be and make a change to this world!

What can you do today?
