Somedays you just feel down,
Somedays you just feel lost,
Somedays your just lost for words,
Somedays you don’t feel loved,
Somedays you don’t know which way to turn,
Somedays you feel so alone,
Somedays you have no confidence,
Somedays you just want to be on your own,
Somedays you feel empty in side,
Somedays life feels so hard,
Somedays you just want to cry,
………
But Somedays life is GREAT,
Somedays Life is SWEET
Somedays you feel beautiful,
Somedays you just want to smile,
Somedays everyone loves you,
Somedays you want to be out with friends,
Somedays are perfect for a party,
Somedays everything is within your reach,
Somedays everything is possible,
Somedays you want to sing out loud,
Somedays you want to dance in the rain,
But everyday…..IS A GIFT….Life is a GIFT….You are a GIFT…..You are BEAUTIFUL…..You are LOVE….You are LIGHT……
Respect YOURSELF…Everyday…Not just Someday..

Spiritual Awakening
Published 05/10/2013 by inspiringyourspirit
Water is a cleanser for the body and the soul, you can see how important water is in all religions, also water is vital to our health and wellbeing. The next time you have rain, don’t curse it, look at it for what it is and how important it is for the survival of people all around the world, the difference between Life and Death is often determined by rainfall.
Some faiths use water especially prepared for religious purposes holy water in some Christian denominations, amrita in Sikhism and Hinduism). Many religions also consider particular sources or bodies of water to be sacred or at least auspicious; examples include Lourdes in Roman Catholicism, the Jordan River (at least symbolically) in some Christian churches, the Zamzam Well in Islam and the River Ganges (among many others) in Hinduism.
Ritual washing
Faiths that incorporate ritual washing (ablution) include Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Judaism, Islam The Baha i Faith, Shinto, Taoism and the Rastafari movement. Immersion (or aspersion or affusion ) of a person in water is a central sacrament of Christianity (where it is called baptism); it is also a part of the practice of other religions, including Judaism (mikvah) and Sikhism (Amrit Sanskar). In addition, a ritual bath in pure water is performed for the dead in many religions including Judaism and Islam. In Islam, the five daily prayers can be done in most cases after completing washing certain parts of the body using clean water (wudu). In Shinto, water is used in almost all rituals to cleanse a person or an area (e.g., in the ritual of misogi.
Immersion of deities
In Hinduism, statues of Durga and Ganesh are immersed in rivers at the final stages of the festivals Durga Puja and Ganesh Chaturthi respectively.
In Christianity, the baptism of Jesus is an important moment in Christian theology, and is the third most important feast of the Church, following Easter and Pentecost Its feast, called Theophany or Epiphany, is celebrated on January 6th.
Water deities
Water deities are usually a focus of worship at specific springs or holy wells, but there are also more abstract ocean deities, and deities representing “water” as an abstract element, such a Abans in Zoroastrianism.
Example for local tutelary water deities include Celtic Sulis , worshipped at the thermal spring at Bath, or Ganges in Hinduism, personified as a goddess. The Hindu goddess Saraswati originated as a personification of the Saraswati River in the Rigveda, but became a more abstract deity of wisdom in Hinduism. African examples include the Yoruba river goddess Oshun, the Lgbo lake goddess Ogbuide, (Uhammiri), or the Igbo river goddess, Ldemili (Achebe).

Who is in Control of YOU!
Published 04/10/2013 by inspiringyourspiritStop.and.Think!…Who is in control of your life?
Is it you… or others?
We often live our lives with other people in control of our minds, our feelings and our emotions, they steer our lives following their path with little concern over our thoughts and our opinions.
Maybe it’s time to take stock, to take a look at our lives and take control over our own future.
Life can be good, it can be great, we just need to regain control.
Come on, have strength, look forward to a new YOU… 🙂

Remember How Blessed You Are

Published 01/10/2013 by inspiringyourspirit
My friends,
I have no idea about politics, why one party is better than another, who should be in power…. but all I know and all I have learned from living and being a honest citizen of this world for over 50 years is…they all Lie, they all coerce to gain all they can from us for the benefit of their own personal wealth, …for the benefit of their wealthy business relationships, supporters and friends…It’s a game, a game that only they can win…unless of course we start to speak up….Now I see that the US Government is shut down,….. WHY?…From what I can see , once again it’s all about power, and some of the government and opposition don’t like some of the decisions being made…Why? well because its not in THEIR BEST INTEREST, I.e, these decisions go against their personal thoughts and their personal business and wealth interests, so if they do not speak up, THEIR financial supporters and rich friends will become annoyed, Pi**ed Off, so what do they do…they force the government to shut in order to get what they want…it becomes a panic situation, time for back stabbing, rumour making and positioning…this is not about governance…This is about POWER, personal power, INDIVIDUAL position, individual power, individual wealth and company wealth…and if you are not behind them and their way of thinking then they will come after you….
Maybe now is the time for some honest talk, not the dressed up spin that we hear each and everyday from politicians in every country and every city in OUR world…now is the time to speak up against all this bullshit…these individual power games, these individual wealth games which use US, you and I as pieces within their game, our lives as pawns within their political power games, our futures, our jobs and our homes in THEIR personal power games….Its time to speak up my friends, we need to do something now, have our voices heard for the benefit of our futures, for the safety and security of our children and our grandchildren, for the better of our countries, for our beliefs, for our oceans, for our forests, for our atmosphere…..Think on my friends, now is the time to have our voices heard, we need to have a say in what transpires, we need to be part of the outcome, not just sit back and let them do it to us again, we need to remember that it is us that puts them in power…unfortunately they forget this, they spin words to us that make us think they care, but at the end of the day, they never, never do what is in OUR best interest…their decisions end in wars, in financial melt down, in foreclosures, creates homelessness, starvation and pollution which we then all have to endure, these decisions never, never effect them because the frakking, the pipelines, the waste dumps, the electrical power stations and the chemical dumps are not on their land or near their homes, these decisions are all about wealth and political gain….not one decision is made for our benefit because WE, the citizens of this earth are not on their radar, these politicians do not loose sleep at night worrying about our welfare, if we have enough food on our table today, if we have a roof over our head tonight, or if we will have a job to go to tomorrow…and if you believe different than you really need to STOP and think again!
So how many more years and more generations will we allow this to continue?
Tomorrow is another day, it can be another day controlled by the politicians and their wealth or it can be a NEW DAY……
Namaste my friends.
With love to you all.

Self-Awareness to help Awaken Humanity
Published 24/09/2013 by inspiringyourspirit
Wise ; Wise words from Lao Tzu, and I am one in which needs to take note of them and make deeper observations to my own self-awareness.
Each and every day I try so hard to help awaken humanity, I care so much about the environment that we live in, the future for our children, the wars raging on all around the world, the hunger, the discrimination, the object poverty, the cruelty and selfishness inflicted on the many by the few whom have control that it breaks my heart. I fight off tears all day long due to the suffering I see all around me, and I feel the hurt that is going on in our world….But, I myself must dig deeper if I want to help make change happen, I must try harder, I must reflect upon myself, seek out my own inner darkness and negativity and replace them with light and greater positivity.
It is true that the greatest gift we can give to this world is Our Own Self-Transformation, I still have a long way to go, I do get bogged down with details, I procrastinate too often and try to solve all the problems of this world at once. I am in fact my own worse enemy. I need help, I need rest and I need to focus and make inner change happen before I can continue on with my journey.
My dear friends, thank you all for for follows, your continued support and you love and light 🙂

The Lost Art of Communication, it Breaks Your Heart
Published 23/09/2013 by inspiringyourspiritI’ve posted on this subject before but when I saw this short video from Thailand it brought tears to my eyes again….Why oh why do we continue to act this way? My wife and I went out for lunch yesterday and everywhere we looked families, couples, parents and their children and teenagers were all doing this exact same thing…Texting, surfing the net, on-line gaming…but not communicating….It’s becoming a selfish world with no connection and no communication…No wonder were always at war, in conflict and people are homeless and on the streets…we have lost interest in each other. lost interest in communicating through body language and conversation on a face to face level..
So sad 😦

Do Some Good For This World?
Did You Know?…..
Wars and Armed Conflicts such as Drug War:
There are currently around 33 wars and serious conflicts being fought in 32 countries. Our innocent brothers and sisters are suffering and dying in these countries. Afghanistan, Egypt, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Mali, D.R. Congo, Israel, Palestine, India, Burma, Thailand, Columbia, Nigeria, Chad, Brazil, Mexico, Columbia.
Hunger.
Hunger kills more people every year
Than Aids, Malaria and Tuberculosis combined.
Every year, authors, journalists, teachers, researchers, schoolchildren and students ask for statistics about hunger and malnutrition. To help answer these questions, here is a list of useful facts and figures on world hunger.
870 million people in the world do not have enough to eat. This number has fallen by 130 million since 1990, but progress slowed after 2008.
The vast majority of hungry people (98 percent) live in developing countries, where almost 15% of the population is undernourished.
Asia and the Pacific have the largest share of the world’s hungry people (some 563 million) but the trend is downward.
If women farmers had the same access to resources as men, the number of hungry in the world could be reduced by up to 150 million.
Poor nutrition causes nearly half (45%) of deaths in children under five – 3.1 million children each year.
One out of six children — roughly 100 million — in developing countries is underweight.
One in four of the world’s children are stunted. In developing countries the proportion can rise to one in three.
80 percent of the world’s stunted children live in just 20 countries.
66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world, with 23 million in Africa alone.
WFP calculates that US$3.2 billion is needed per year to reach all 66 million hungry school-age children.
Homeless.
“Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.” – Universal Declaration of Human Rights, article 25, par. 1
Homelessness- What it is?
Homelessness is the condition and social category of people who lack housing, because they cannot afford, or are otherwise unable to maintain, a regular, safe, and adequate shelter.
Who are Homeless?
A homeless person is defined into three categories.
In general it is said about an individual who lacks a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence; and an individual who has a primary nighttime residence that is
1. A publicly supervised or privately operated shelter designed to provide temporary living accommodations (including welfare hotels, congregate shelters, and transitional housing for the mentally ill);
2. An institution that provides a temporary residence for individuals intended to be institutionalized; or
3. A public or private place not designed for, or ordinarily used as a regular sleeping accommodation for human beings.
Homelessness- The Fact
Housing is a basic human need, yet the statistics of United Nations Commission on Human Rights in 2005 notes that, an estimated 100 million people -one-quarter of the world’s population- live without shelter or in unhealthy and unacceptable conditions. Over 100 million people around the world have no shelter whatsoever. The health consequences of this level of homelessness are profound. The Action Aid in 2003 had found out that there were 78 million homeless people in India alone. CRY (Child Relief and You) in 2006 estimated that there are 11 million homeless children live on the street. The statistics are grim. What is worse is that very little is known of what it means to be part of such horrific numbers.
Impact of Homelessness on Children
According to a report published by the United Nations, there are 150 million children aged three to 18 years on our streets today—and their numbers are growing fast. 40% of the world’s street children are homeless, the other 60% work on the street to support their families. The UNICEF, World Health Organization (WHO) and several NGO’s have got disputing figures in their account of street children. According to CRY(Child Relief and You) about 60 million Indian children under the age of 6 live below the poverty line. The problem has become particularly acute for homeless children, one-fifth of whom receive no education.
According to Indian Embassy figures, there are 314,700 children living on the streets of Bombay [Mumbai], Calcutta [Kolkata], Madras [Chennai], Kanpur, Bangalore and Hyderabad, and another 100,000 live in New Delhi; however, these numbers may not reflect the true picture, as accurate census information is difficult to collect. In truth, millions of India’s children are denied even the most basic rights of survival and protection. Children living on the streets are especially vulnerable to victimization, exploitation, and the abuse of their civil and economic rights.
These statistics are just the tip of a very big iceberg, we as a civilization are allowing these conflicts and these atrocities to go on, year after year, whilst we carry on with our daily lives, wanting more, buying more, wasting more….’I need a bigger house’, ‘I need to buy more clothes’, ‘I want the supersized meal with extra fries’, ’I need the Latest iPhone.. Because I just do!…
We live in a throw away society and that my dear friends also includes people, they are out of sight from the majority of us so therefore out of mind, we don’t have to drive or walk past them every day, we don’t have to see their suffering, smell their living conditions or watch them eat whatever scraps they can find…We have just lost sight, lost our way and lost our compassion for our brothers and sisters.
I myself have been there, I have had the wealth, the fast cars, the huge house, the trinkets that money can buy, the expensive food on the table…wanting for nothing but at the same time fighting for more and more and more…..but then reality hits…..BANG….like a smack in the face, a loved one is ill, diagnosed with cancer and there is NOTHING you can do, all the money in the world CANNOT help, the cars, the house, the clothing, the food is all meaningless….then that love is taken away from you…..!
Money, CANNOT buy you Happiness but it can help us change the world, it could be used for good, it can help millions of people, it can stop wars, it can eradicate famine and it can provide shelter for our global brothers and sisters……
So my dear friends, is it not the right time to ‘Make Change’?
We can do so much together….
One Voice at a time.
We can make a difference.
Namaste

For my Dear Friend K
Published 20/09/2013 by inspiringyourspiritThis short post is for a dear friend of mine ‘K’, I won’t say his name out loud but he knows who he is. He is one of the nicest human beings I have ever had the privilege to meet and someone I’m proud to call my friend. He, has unfortunately lost his way a little over this past couple of years, he has faced challenges and extreme pressures both financially and mentally from his family, manage squabbles between family members and deal with his own turbulent relationship issues all at the same time. These challenges have been a massive drain on his health and his spiritual wellbeing which have led him on a downward spiral abusing his body through lack of decent nutrition and excesses of drugs and alcohol which numb his feelings and help him get through the long days and even longer lonely nights.
Last night I witnessed him loosing control of the physical plain, it was very frightening for him, for me and for all the other friends who witnessed him fading out of control whilst under the influence of some drug or other he took which his body must have reacted to badly, and for a few split seconds I honestly thought we had lost him but I held on to him and helped him back to reality with a simple hand on his shoulder. He regained consciousness and came back to us within a few minutes.
‘K’ is not alone, even though he may think so….there are always people out there who love you, who care for you and want you to be part of their lives.
_/\_ Namaste my friends, please say a prayer and send some loving energy to ‘K’ (My dear friend) and to anyone else out there who like ‘K’ who are hurting tonight.
