My Dear friends,
After my very sad and shocking post re animal cruelty yesterday, I felt the need to bring us back to some peace and tranquility, so i’m continuing my walk with you through the gardens surrounding Leshan Temple and the largest Buddha in the world ‘Dafo’.
These statues and carvings bring me to a calm state of mind as soon as i see them, it’s like walking into a temple, a Church, a Cathedral, a Synagog or a Mosque, these wonderful places of worship are also filled with stunning artworks from ‘God, our creator’ and they are placed all around the world to bring us back to the ‘NOW’, to re-focus our minds to the beauty this world has to offer, to give us time to re-think and to help us focus on what is important in our lives.
I’m truely sorry if my post shocked you yesterday but it is part of this crazy world we live in and it’s people like us who can make a difference, we can stop cruelty, we can bring peace to this world… if we work ‘Together’!
I do hope you enjoy these images and meditate a little today, re-focus your mind and be at peace with the world!

My dear friends,
Please Read this before watching the video and please don’t show your children!
I have been posting a series of beautiful images of my walk through the gardens of Leshan recently that bring serenity and peace to many of my blog followers and I have received so many beautiful and loving comments regarding the images and what they have brought to the viewers of my posts and I do aim to come back to them after this VERY IMPORTANT POST!
I watched this and was completely shocked, I live here in China, China is my life and I love almost everything about China, its people, its culture, its history, its entraprenurialism, its drive, its determination to win, its medicine…everything.
This is not about China it is about the trade, the greed and the need to wear these items as articles of fashion, as a status of power and wealth that drives this industry and this utter madness and downright cruelty!…PLEASE BEWARE and BE WARNED that this video will shock you, it made me CRY BIG TEARS and I urge you, my friends to help stop this trade in cruelty.
Every creature on God’s earth deserves respect, they deserve our love and our care, we are, and, should be one with nature, here on earth!
Please don’t purchase any fur garments, trinkets or accessories and share this video with anyone who cares and wants to see change!

Energy vampires will drain your energy, unless you stop them !!
By Heather Rulton.

Have you ever been around someone who can zap all your energy just being around them ? or know someone who makes you feel drained whenever you give them your time, whether be over the phone, face to face, or even over the Internet through conversation ?
They some how manage to bring your mood from happy to……wondering why your no longer happy! And if you are an empath, clairsentiant, or emotionally sensitive, you will be the main source they focus on as you have a giving nature and your souls purpose is to help others and give your time and energy.
Energy vampires thrive and survive on other peoples energy. They can not sustain their own energy level so they must feed off others energy to keep them functioning. Some know they are doing this and use it to their advantage by using others time, energy, emotion, by unloading their problems on you on a regular basis, while doing nothing to really help them self or by picking arguments, creating tension in order to feed off the energy the interaction creates.
Others don’t really know they are doing this, they believe they are helpless and a victim of the universe. They ask for help and when you give it, nothing is ever is really accomplished because after your efforts are given they do not sustain momentum, unless someone else is doing it for them. A good motto here is….Be willing to help those, who are willing to help themselves ! They may not do it intentionally but none the less they do it.
These are energy vampires. There are many more examples of the types but in the end they ALL thrive on your energy and anyone else who will give it to them. They are the chronic complainers, the pessimistic the manipulators, the ones who like to argue or twist your words, the ones who talk negative about you, the ones who want you to do their work, they are the ones who bring you down intentionally or not. Energy vampires are every where. You meet them almost every day. They can be your neighbors your parents, customers, friends, in laws, strangers, even your own children !
Now just because they take your energy does not necessarily mean they are bad people and you should cut them out of your life. There are ways to help deal with these people once you can identify them. You and use simple visualization techniques to place a protective energy shield between you and the other person or persons.
You can carry crystals or gemstones in your pocket that help with clearing up negative energy or giving you the knowledge to know when it is appropriate to give them your time or help them.
You must be clear about your boundaries with these people, and if you do not have appropriate boundaries on how you will allow other people to treat you…. now is the time to get them. Speak them and mean it. Do not let others take advantage of you or engage in arguments that only serve to feed them your energy, time and attention.
Limit your time with these individuals and do not, do for them them, what they can do for themselves Helping is always good but be sure your helping and not enabling them to use you or think they are not capable themselves.
Do not engage in power struggles and walk away when you find yourself being pulled into an argument or low energy conversation that will really do no good or accomplish any thing.
Every one in our lives need help from time to time, a shoulder to cry on, and ear to vent to, and harsh words are spoken some times too, but when this is a regular thing something is out of balance and if it’s not corrected that is when you are left with symptoms such as fatigue, anxiety, frustration, resentment, even with short term head aches, aches, tension, or upset stomach and just an overall feeling of being drained…. when prior to your time spent with them you were fine.
Using protection is as simple as asking Spirit to place a bubble or wall of protection around you that will stop you from absorbing anyone else’s negative energy, and also to stop others from taking your energy. Energy Vampires are everywhere and most of us have to admit we have been an energy vampire at some point ourselves, but now that you know how to identify one, you can take measures to avoid the loss of your energy by someone else taking it without your permission, and you can be mindful not take someone else’s !

Hello Everyone,
I’m going to take you on a pictorial journey of Leshan to see The Giant Buddha of Leshan also known as
æ¨åąąå¤§äŊ, âDafoâ which means Big Buddha, Dafo is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world, and by far the tallest pre-modern statue in the world. carved out of a cliff face by an 8th-century monk during the Tang Dynasty (618â907AD) in southern Sichuan province. The Giant Buddha overlooks the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers which flow below his feet and faces the sacred Mount Emei (with which it shares its World Heritage status).
I will share with you many images during the next few days which I hope will enable you to enjoy the beauty and serenity that this very special and spiritual place has to offer.
I do hope you enjoy the journey with me!

Bird upon a feather lands
Tree upon a mountain stands
Tumbled shells grace ocean sands
Within Mother Earth’s loving hands
If only we as individuals and collectively as a human race could be more conscious of our own being, of our own surroundings and collectively as a species, I’m sure we would start to get along together so much better and we would put this world back on track to peace and civility and live in harmony with all living things.

The sounds of flowing water connects us to the circle of nature and reminds us that nothing stops still in life and that change is a natural part of our lives. The soothing sound of flowing water blocks out other harsh noises and helps us deal with our own mental chatter.
The peaceful sounds of flowing water can help us calm our mind and release tension from our bodies. It can also improve our general mental and physical health. Water droplets produce beneficial negative ions, so, if we are close to flowing water we will inhale these negative ions which are then absorbed into our bloodstream. Negative ions are known to improve our wel-being, and our physical and mental capacity by accelerating the delivery of oxygen to our cells. That is why we can feel so refreshed and invigorated after a spring storm or by standing next to a waterfall.
Using Flowing water whilst meditating.
Try this meditation if you have been stuck inside your office or place of work for a long period of time or where the air is not particularly fresh or healthy.
If you have any flowing water nearby then sit on a cushion or chair near it or us a miniature water fountain.

The cloud does not insist upon its form,
The wave does not force its way over the ocean,
So why should you clutch so tightlyâ¨Â Your little map?
Follow your heart
â¨And know joy in all things.
The path of freedom
â¨Has no markers,
Yet leads to fulfilment;
The path of confusion
Is crowded with signs,
â¨Pointing in all directions.
The Great Way is a humble, solitary path
Leading Home;
Follow it closely and be guided.
â¨How do you know you are on the way?
When your map no longer serves you!

âForgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future.â ~ Paul Boese
We are frequently quick to brush away an insult, hurt or harsh words with a flick of our wrist and dismiss it with casual words like âThatâs okay,â or âNot a problem.â Forgiving someone is more than just a reaction.
In actuality, those seemingly casual words may be carrying along two messages:
I forgive you.
Itâs okay for you to hurt me repeatedly because Iâll just dismiss it.
As much as we wish this wouldnât happen to us, we seem to be affected by the words and the actions of other people. They can tell immediately by the look on your face how you are reacting to their words and their actions. There isnât one of us who wants others to know that we have hurt feelings, so we try to move away from them as rapidly as we can. Sometimes our âThatâs okay,â or âNot a problem,â is an avoidance technique: we brush aside our own feelings because even we donât want to feel them.
We use our âThatâs okay,â or âNot a problem,â to quickly deflect our friends apologies which then gives them permission for the behavior to happen again. Itâs subtle, I know, but itâs worth a good look to see if you are operating with this modus.
One of the first things that therapists recommend when you are trying to get a grip on your one wonderful life is to sit with your feelings. To feel whatever it is you feel. If you are not consciously aware of what is happening, you can do nothing to change it!
This brushing away of negative emotions is a dismissal of our own feelings. They come because they bear great gifts. They tell us if we are hurt. We cannot change feeling hurt until we can admit that we are hurt. These negative emotions are a dismissal of the negative input of others. Dismissal carries the message âItâs okay if you hurt me.â As I said, itâs subtle, but it truly deserves your attention if you want your life and its experience to improve. Forgiving someone graciously is what is needed.
It requires far greater honesty than you are currently exercising, or you will remain running in circular patterns of behavior. In this cycle, without honesty interjected to stop it, you will continuously let people overstep themselves in our lives and offer pain, which we will then assume is our norm, and we will become victimized by this.

âBlessed are those servants whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching.ââ¨~ Luke 12:37
Nepsis, or nipsis, is a Greek word which means to be watchful, alert, and vigilant, and to keep on your guard for illusions and fear, with a clear, sober mind. Parallels could likely be made between Nepsis and the concepts of mindfulness in Buddhism, dhikr in Islam, and devekut in Judism. In spiritual literature, Nepsis is the natural state of an awaken soul: one that is both connected with the Divine and is self-aware of this connection.
Nepsis is an interesting and important sacred concept, because it is a major requirement for those that practice the teachings of any spiritual path. Nepsis is also an early Christian precept as it was considered as a requirement or virtue that was avidly expected for the seeker to develop during their lifetime. The Essenians and the Fathers of the Desert, thought that evil thoughts were thoughts brought in by demons. These thoughts darken the mind; they bring in doubt, and fear. Nepsis was a way to intentionally âclose the gateâ to other non Godly thoughts.
Nepsis, the art of being watchful, can be taught and learned as a means to overcome various spiritual sicknesses. Specific to this process is the watchfulness of the human heart. The ancient traditions thought that Nepsis was the proper way to address and resolve the conflicts of the human nous: the conflicts between the heart and mind.
Stillness within one individual can affect society beyond measure.â¨~Bede Griffiths
To be involved in Nepsis is to be exercising watchfulness and alertness. It does not mean to be simply guarding our thoughts against the evils of illusions and fears, but also means to guard our thoughts closely: once we have aligned ourselves with Christ-consciousness, we enter a new level of manifestation, and with this gift comes much responsibility.
âWords can be worth silver, but silence is worth gold.â
The cultivation of this âvirtueâ through the practice of stilling or silencing chatty thoughts, peacefulness of movements and speech ,and internal quietness can turn the mind, the eyes of the soul, and the heart, the source of all our power, into fertile grounds for further spiritual practices, such as deep meditation, contemplation even the applications of Theurgy. With the development of Nepsis, and our attention, comes a charismatic spiritual gift: discernment.
A conversation between a young boy and his father
SON: “Daddy, may I ask you a question?”
DAD: “Yeah sure, what is it?”
SON: “Daddy, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “That’s none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?”
SON: “I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?”
DAD: “If you must know, I make $100 an hour.”
SON: “Oh! (With his head down).
SON: “Daddy, may I please borrow $50?”
The father was furious.
DAD: “If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish behavior.”
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy’s questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $ 50 and he really didn’t ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy’s room and opened the door.
DAD: “Are you asleep, son?”
SON: “No daddy, I’m awake”.
DAD: “I’ve been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier. It’s been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here’s the $50 you asked for.”
The little boy sat straight up, smiling.
SON: “Oh, thank you daddy!”
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
DAD: “Why do you want more money if you already have some?”
SON: “Because I didn’t have enough, but now I do.
“Daddy, I have $100 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.”
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness. It’s just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $100 worth of your time with someone you love? If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.
Some things are just more important!
