Omnipresence of Peace

Peace is available to every person, every minute of the day, but how much peace do you experience? Is peace a prominent part of your existence, or is there something obstructing it? Is there a clog in your peace channel, or are you obstructing it?
Peace is similar to love; you either have it or you don’t. You are either in it or not. Peace and love are two qualities that are part of the Absolute; ultimately, there are no opposites for either of them. Some people believe there are opposites of these two qualities, but I ask you to look deeper than the surface. The absence of something is totally different from the opposite of something. Let’s use light as an example to illustrate my point. Some people believe that the opposite of light is dark; however, darkness is the absence of light, not its opposite. Even the dictionary explains this. The dictionary defines peace as “the freedom from disturbance.” Is not freedom from disturbance the same as the absence of disturbance? So where does the disturbance originate. Have you given that any thought or consideration?
I want to share a parable. Its origination is a bit vague; some sources say Buddha said it, some say Sai Baba said it, and some say a man asked God. Its source is irrelevant, simply because it describes a timeless truth, and timeless truths trickle down and touch the heart of whoever is truly listening.
Someone said to their teacher, “I want peace.” The teacher replied, “Remove the I, that is ego. Remove the want, that is desire, and peace is what you have left; peace will automatically be yours!”
What does this parable teach us? Without a shadow of doubt, it is the mind, and the qualities of the mind, such as ego and desire, that obstruct us from experiencing peace. Peace is available to all of us, every minute, every hour, every day; it is always there, but you are going to have to move beyond the mind to access it.

I have often asked my life-coaching clients to explain in their own words what they perceive to be the difference between happiness and joy, or happiness and peace. Some understand the point of my question immediately. Others are stumped and have never really given it much thought. So, let’s address it here and now.
Happiness is fleeting; it comes and goes. Happiness is a feeling that you experience when you are getting something you are wanting, or possibly not getting something that you do not want. Either way, happiness is in direct relation to something outside of you. Peace is a quality that exists independently, no matter what you are feeling in the moment. From the mind’s perspective, situations occur. Some situations bring about happiness, sometimes sadness, others bring about anger, and projections about the future can usher in fear.
However, peace is always there, if you are willing to look. Peace is autonomous, and is independently available no matter what you may be feeling. The key is to go deeper than the surface feeling, the transient comings and goings of the psyche/somatic dance of the mind and body. All feelings are momentary and are in direct relation to something else. Peace is unrestricted, unrestrained, boundless, infinite, and unconditional, but you will not find it traversing through the halls of your mind. After all, isn’t the mind, and its concepts (ego, ‘I,’ desire, duality, past, future, needs, time, etc.) the culprit of all disturbances?
The first key to accessing your peace is to know that it is always there. It may be temporarily covered up by your own thought forms or judgments, but it is still there. The second key is to go deeper than the surface of your feelings, not from the perspective of dishonoring or ignoring your feelings, just ‘deeper than’. In some cases, honoring your feelings can translate to accepting your feelings, and acceptance is one of the strongest links to accessing peace you will ever find. When you accept, there is no disturbance, there is no adversarial relationship.
Another way to access the available peace is to drop the labels and judgments of yourself and others, and to have a stronger determination to experience peace, than to engage with the temporal, fleeting feelings. Remember, your feelings will pass, but peace is omnipresent.

So when life’s circumstances, or more specifically, your judgments of life’s circumstances, stand between you and your experience of peace, it is a choice to not access your peace.

Meditating With Your Spirit Guides

Published 24/01/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

Many people have challenges with the concept of meditation and just exactly what it means. They want to understand how to attain that beautiful state of peaceful bliss. For those practicing advanced spirituality, meditation helps them to strengthen the connection to their source energy. The guides, ascended masters and angels who help convey knowledge, insight and healing heed to this connection. While in a high vibrational state of meditation, you are completely able to control the physical body with the spiritual body and be conscious of it; thereby training your mind to stay in this state while awake. Your body can be in a constant state of renewal and recharge if you are channeling in higher realms during meditation.
The first thing to realize is it is your state of mind and not your location that matter. Some people can meditate and connect in the middle of a crowded and noisy room. They can also zoom in on people and situations going on before anyone else notices a thing. Others are too distracted by every noise and movement in the room to be able to maintain the focus they need.
Your own personal spirit guides surround you at all times with their vibrational energy. When you tap into this stream of spiritual light, their light becomes one within you, and combined with the energy from the Source, it heals our every need. This is the energy of miracles. This amazing force calls upon the Angels. They can hear our prayers, answer our calls to be healed, and lifted up into the vibration of joy and absolute peace. This is the peace all of us long to feel as soon as we are born here. This is the spiritual consciousness that thrives in us and connects us all.
The light which radiated from us when we came here, that we think we might have lost sometimes, is only a prayer, a vision, or a thought away. The ability to call on the souls in the consciousness who love us fearlessly and unconditionally is the super power of pure love which created us to which we will always return to.
As you become accustomed to the energy and the light your guides are bringing in with them, you will start discovering your own unique abilities to communicate. It takes courage and practice. There are many signs of awakening you can experience and build on to strengthen your bond with the souls who are there to assist you from the light. You may be able to feel a presence, a blast of air, a touch on your forehead or hear a bell ring. All of these signs are telling you that your meditations are successful.
Each of us may have our own ways of connecting in our prayers and meditations. There are no rules. If Spirit is coming through to you and healing your needs and comforting your fears, where and how you connect makes no difference. Whether you are standing at the top of a mountain looking out at a beautiful valley or kneeling in a great cathedral, just know you are worthy of all the love you are receiving.

What is my Mission in Life?

Published 21/01/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

03_ps26_6purpose_posters_xlarge[1]

Many of us ask “Why am I here, what is my mission in life?”

Most of us never figure it out until some major event or shock taps us on the shoulder and wakes us from our slumber. It’s during these times of great stress that we’re fully alive and connected to the divine, the spirits, the god’s The Buddha or whatever it is you believe in with great attention, more than at any other time in our lives.
And that’s when we should take full advantage of what’s going on, looking within ourselves and finding out what we are actually feeling, and connecting to the wonder of the possibilities when we are so wide open and vulnerable.
Again that word vulnerable comes up, vulnerable to our own feelings, vulnerable to others who are suffering thus having compassion, vulnerable to establishing a heart felt connection to someone reaching out wanting the same.
Thus this is our mission, to open up, to feel, to love, and expect nothing in return except the gratitude of our own heart… rooted deeply in the love of the Divine, the ONE that means most to us!
Everything we connect to on this planet is God, The Buddha, the Tao, and the Universe… our love, lover, and beloved.

So, Do you know who you are and what is your mission in Life?…..

I have enjoyed this (relatively new) habit of buying new clothes as few as possible and only few times a year but of high quality and known source.

What I buy new I really try, also because it interests me, to find out where the clothes are made from which material and by whom (or at least proof that workers have been paid fairly). So I try as often as I can to buy clothes that are labelled fair trade and organic.

One company that I have ‘discovered’ a couple of years ago and that I am very fond of is PEOPLE TREE, founded by  Safia Minney and it started in 2011.

Their ‘manifesto’ reads:

The Most Important Question You Can Ask

Published 20/01/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

382161_338406259600595_1976393801_n

If you are working on your spiritual self the most important question is –

“What do I feel about me…right now?”

Having self-esteem means learning to love the one you see in the mirror first, and then taking care of the rest of the world.

Having self-esteem means… I think loving thoughts about myself.
Having self-esteem means… I behave in loving ways towards myself.
Having self-esteem means… I react in loving ways towards myself.
Having self-esteem means… My actions are consistently loving towards myself.
Having self-esteem means… I trust myself and my judgement.

If you feel good about the one you see in the mirror… then reward the child within with a small treat… something special 🙂

If you feel bad about yourself… then don’t beat yourself up, don’t fall prey to guilt and shame, just see in your minds eye that next time you’ll do things differently.

You’re not perfect, no one is perfect, and you came to this planet as the Divine essence of God to learn… and love yourself at the same time.

That’s the most important aspect of self-esteem… learning to love yourself as you learn.

So Love Yourself and start enjoying what this life has to offer 🙂

Right now some of you are going… huh? So what does it really mean and how do you do it?

With all the Irritation,Lethargy and Fear vibrations circulating right now during these dimensional merges people are finding themselves to moving through some very difficult situations, experiences or lesson.

Not just people you meet on the street but friends, spouses and partners as well. In a previous blog on Empathic Sensitivity  I explained how another persons issues can trigger you into:

  1. Thinking that their emotions are yours.
  2. Is the Soul’s way of trying to get information from your Soul.

So let’s take this to the next step…

Understand that every Soul is different and requires different lessons in order to spiritually grow and evolve. In order to do this they may choose a different experience from you in order to achieve that goal and learn that lesson so they may move into greater states…

Cherishing the vulnerable Child

Published 17/01/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

197612_480441315310488_1421541446_n[1]

Many people feel alone, unloved, and unworthy… and those feelings spring from within. When we start seeing how wonderful we are, how supportive, caring, and nurturing we can be, life takes on a whole new light.
But it takes opening up our soul and acknowledging our pain, suffering, and feelings of being alone before we can start healing. We must first embrace the inner child’s feelings… thus opening ourselves up to be vulnerable.
In this day and age being vulnerability is looked upon as weakness, something to be shunned and pushed away. But in reality we become “real” in the process of opening ourselves up to all our flaws… thus we can change. For growth never happens to a sapling it if shuns all the manure that’s piled up around the trunk… and fertilizer for the soul is just what we need to challenge our perceptions of who we think we are.
There is no way we can go out on a limb and be strong without first being vulnerable to our own faults. Those in leadership positions who think they have all the answers are not willing to open up and be vulnerable, vulnerability means they can be wrong… that’s something we are missing right now.
Being real means we can express our feelings deeply and know that it’s great. For we are being genuine and truthful and at the same time being caring and compassionate.
Being vulnerable means it’s OK to be afraid, but if we cover our fears with ego, ego takes over sending us in a direction where we are puffed up with the egos need to be right… unable to hear the truth.
For there is great strength in being vulnerable, and great strength in truth, for truth in the end is another word for peace, and peace is what we deserve as children of God, the Cosmos, The Tao, and the Universe.
