When did you last read a book to your child, take a walk in nature and..Talk?

2013, were living in a fast paced world constantly chasing our tails to earn a living, to put food on our tables, to put clothes on our backs and to buy even more technology, iPhones, Galaxies, Blackberry’s, iPad’s, iMacs, Mac Pro’s, laptops of all shapes and sizes, every bigger and more powerful desktop computers, larger flat screen TV’s, Xboxes, controllers, wireless gadgets, faster internet connections, everything online on a cloud…and on and on it goes.

As a race we are dis-connecting, dis-connecting from each other, whilst we remain connected via computers, tablets and mobile phones, we are sadly however dis-connecting from a human-to-human communicative perspective. Just take a look around you, you will see couples, families, groups of friends out together, sitting in coffee shops, bars, restaurants, parks but they are all fixed to their electronic devices, they make little eye contact, don’t often speak and very seldom touch, hug or even smile to one another…..Sad but true!

When was the last time you played with your child, with your brother or sister or your family friends children, played football, soccer together, threw a ball, sat by a lake fishing, building dens, secret homes inside or outside, went for a walk in nature, walked the dogs together, went swimming as a family, read a book together, drew pictures together?…I could go on and on!

If you have the chance, put your phone, your tablet and your Xbox aside this weekend and play some old fashioned games, speak to each other, re-connect on a human level and enjoy what life was and can be again because personal communication can be the start of making our world a better place, it can be the start of dialogue between countries, between political parties, it can help us eradicate our differences, bring us closer together and maybe even bring peace to our world.

Go on, give it a try!

Finding Inner Peace….The Ultimate Aim in Life.

Published 13/11/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

inner peace

Inner Peace, what is it and how do I get it!

‘Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.’

Victor Frankl

“Give up defining yourself – to yourself or to others. You won’t die. You will come to life. And don’t be concerned with how others define you. When they define you, they are limiting themselves, so it’s their problem. Whenever you interact with people, don’t be there primarily as a function or a role, but as the field of conscious Presence. You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose something that you are.

Eckhart Tolle

His Holiness the Dali Lama said: “Out of compassion brings inner peace, and out of inner peace comes world peace. Without inner peace, we cannot have world peace,”

His Holiness went on to say “everyone has the same capabilities for inner peace and compassion. If a person is always in constant fear and suspicion, that’s “very bad,” Everyone has the same capacity for kindness”.

“To me, the audience is brothers and sisters — no difference,” “Emotionally, mentally and physically we are the same. Negative emotions — anger, fear suspicion are the same. On the other hand, we have the same potential for compassion. Compassion is the seed of inner peace. We all have the same potential.” Showing compassion to an enemy helps to achieve inner peace, he said. “Neighbors with jealousy never get peace,”

Smiling often and genuinely is another key to finding compassion and inner peace, the more positive you are, the better you feel.

“Scientists have now began to realize — for physical health — reduce blood pressure, reduce anxiety, reduce fear …. Calmness is very, very important,”

So as a layman such as I, Inner peace is to be calm, to be in the ‘Now’, to be at peace with yourself, to smile, and to connect to others even our enemies with compassion. Compassion is such an important element of my life, often my  closest friends say to me ‘I’m too compassionate’!…In my mind, I can never be compassionate enough, they say ‘I’m utterly selfless’ and that sometimes is also to my detriment, ‘but hey’, that’s me and I try to bring compassion into every encounter I experience. It allows me to see the inter-connectedness of all life forms and that we are all part of a whole life energy force, the divine matrix filled with light and love. And that by widening our circle of compassion to others during our everyday encounters, and by practicing non-violence; always begins with us. The practice of compassion starts with us blocking out our negative thoughts and removing our notions of anger, hatred and violence, therefore reducing if not totally removing the negative and often violent actions we inflict upon ourselves and then, onto others.

In order for me to practice loving-kindness, non-judgment, and compassion of others and myself I go about my day keeping an open heart and extending as much pure love and gratitude to everyone I meet as possible. When doing so try to use your empathetic skills and natural intuitions to listen to the other person, I mean ‘really listen, with the intent to understand’ and pay attention to the loving connection between your heart and the other person’s heart.  Allow yourself to connect to the other person and silently bless them with loving compassion. In doing so you will connect via the energy forces that go between you; ‘The Devine Matrix’ that has been given to you by God and you will attune to their true and natural feelings.

If we as humans would only start to better understand and use our natural intuitions, empathy, compassion and abilities to love one another then we may just start to change our world for the better.

As always my dear friends, I hold out my hands to each and every one of you, I give you my love, and I send you my positive energy in the hope that we, together can help change our world and make it a better place for our children and their children to love and to cherish for many generations to come.

Remember my friends, we are just visitors to this world, we are here only for a brief moment in time, and, it is all our responsibilities to help bring about peace and love and protect our world for all!

Banks, Financial Institutions and Corporations, Do they care about us?

Published 12/11/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

images-9images-8images-10

My Dear Friends,

I have been pondering whether or not to write this post! As you know my posts are not by-on-large confrontational, they have no political bias and are generally talking about spirituality, joy, happiness, peace, the environment and all those good things in life, However, I am becoming more and more disgruntled, more unhappy with our world and in the way in which a) we are governed, b) by whom we are governed and c) the way in which we are treated by banks, financial institutions and corporations all around the world.

I would like to share a short story with you, a true story, which came to me in the form of a letter I received on Saturday, a letter from my bank Nat West. (National Westminster Bank Plc, commonly known as NatWest, is the largest retail and commercial bank in the United Kingdom and has been part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group since 2000. The Royal Bank of Scotland Group (RBS) is ranked among the top 10 largest banks in the world by assets. NatWest was established in 1968 by the merger of National Provincial Bank (established 1833 as National Provincial Bank of England) and Westminster Bank (established 1834 as London County and Westminster Bank). Source Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Westminster_Bank if you would like more information. The letter started off by stating that NatWest had decided they had recently taken the decision to discontinue providing banking services to customers who reside in certain overseas countries! And, that as their records indicate that I reside in China, so they are therefore notifying me that they will be closing my existing account(s). They also go on to say that ‘This is in no way intended to offend any customer, etc. etc. And I had just 60 days from the date of this letter to find alternative banking services and transfer my funds, establish new banking processes etc.!…Wow, I thought, I have been with this bank for 30 years, as both a personal customer and for many years a corporate business customer, I use it regularly, my children rely on it for me to send they money and although I live and work in China, I do have plans to return to the UK one day soon…So, I thought I would call the helpline as stated within the letter and after approximately 15 minutes on hold listening to poorly recorded music and continued messages thanking me for my patience, a lovely lady answered my call. I gave her the details in the letter and she replied, I’m sorry Sir, there is nothing we can do about it, the decision has been made!…….How can these banks make this sort of decision, especially when we have been loyal customers for 30 years, our feelings and plight did not come into their consideration or for that matter any concern for us and the troubles made to us because of ‘Their Decision’!….

Now, as I said at the beginning of this post, I am not confrontational and I do not as a rule speak out about this sort of wrong doing…But Hey, enough is enough, I have paid my fees and charges, as set by the bank each and every month, year in, year out with no thanks and not even a thanks for your business and loyalty Sir for the past 30 years of Banking with NatWest etc….

So, once again, the decision has been made, certainly not one in my best interest and I’m sure not in the best interests of others who are in the same boat as I. This decision has been made to save money…I mean make more money and yet just another bad decision made by the Bankers, ‘did I say that right?’…for their benefit only….They talk about ‘Brand Loyalty’..but what about ‘Customer Loyalty’?

My Dear Friends, I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter and your stories….

It’s time for change, change in our favour…not just in favour of the elite, the rich, the corporations and the governments controlled by the former.

A few words of I think sanity from Russell Brand “We can all contribute ideas as to how to change our world; schoolboys, squaddies, hippies, Muslims, Jews and if what I’m describing is naive then you can keep your education and your indoctrination because loving our planet and each other is a duty, a beautiful obligation. While chatting to people this week I heard some interesting ideas, here are a couple.

We could use the money accumulated by those who have too much, not normal people with a couple of cars, giant corporations, to fund a fairer society.

The US government gave a trillion dollars to bail out the big five banks over the past year. Banks that have grown by 30% since the crisis and are experiencing record profits and giving their execs record bonuses. How about, hang on to your hats because here comes a naïve suggestion, don’t give them that money, use it to create one million jobs at fifty grand a year for people who teach, nurse or protect.

These bailouts for elites over services for the many are institutionalised within the system, no party proposes changing it. American people that voted, voted for it. I’m not voting for that.

That’s one suggestion for the Americans; we started their country so we owe them a favour now things are getting heavy.

Here’s one for blighty; Philip Green, the bloke who owns Top Shop didn’t pay any income tax on a £1.2bn dividend in 2005. None. Unless he paid himself a salary that year, in addition to the £1.2bn dividend, the largest in corporate history, then the people who clean Top Shop paid more income tax than he did. That’s for two reasons – firstly because he said that all of his £1.2bn earnings belong to his missus, who was registered in Monaco and secondly because he’s an arsehole. The money he’s nicked through legal loopholes would pay the annual salary for 20,000 NHS nurses. It’s not illegal; it’s systemic, British people who voted, voted for it. I’m not voting for that.

Why don’t you try not paying taxes and see how quickly a lump of bird gets thrown in your face. It’s socialism for corporate elites and feudalism for the rest of us. Those suggestions did not come from me; The first came from Dave DeGraw, the second Johann Hari got from UK Uncut. Luckily with organisations like them, Occupy, Anonymous and The People’s Assembly I don’t need to come with ideas, we can all participate. I’m happy to be a part of the conversation, if more young people are talking about fracking instead of twerking we’re heading in the right direction. The people that govern us don’t want an active population who are politically engaged, they want passive consumers distracted by the spectacle of which I accept I am a part.

If we all collude and collaborate together we can design a new system that makes the current one obsolete. The reality is there are alternatives. That is the terrifying truth that the media, government and big business work so hard to conceal. I believe in change. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty because my hands are dirty already. I don’t mind giving my life to this because I’m only alive because of the compassion and love of others. Men and women strong enough to defy this system and live according to higher laws. This is a journey we can all go on together, all of us. We can include everyone and fear no one. A system that serves the planet and the people. I’d vote for that.”

Well said Russell, I’d vote for that too!

Shanghai, the city where I live. Sometimes it’s so difficult to explain to friends in different countries what it’s like to live in Shanghai, China. It’s a beautiful city a city which never stops, it’s shops and restaurants are open 24 x 7, people go about their business as the sun rises and sets. It’s a city of change, its a city of vibrance, its a city of diversity. Note the speed of destruction and construction, the fireworks on Chinese New Year and the lightening strikes on the towers within the city, also the children in the school doing their early morning exercises in the playground, Shanghai a city that never sleeps 🙂

Good morning my dear friends,

The sun has risen over Shanghai on Monday 4th November and it is the start of another sunny, beautiful day. I woke with a smile on my face this morning and my heart and soul is full of happiness and joy, I feel so thankful and grateful for who I am and what I stand for and for the spiritual journey that has been bestowed on me, and for all of you my dear blogging friends from all over the world, your support, your love, your comments and friendship bring me greater strength, greater commitment and further inspiration to do more each and every day and to reach out further and to help others around the world through my posts.

It gives me great joy to just sit for a moment and think of all the things I have in my life, my lovely wife May, May is my soul mate my guardian angel in life and in spirit, my four beautiful children…wow, what can I say about them! They are my pride and my joy, each of them has their own special skills and life style, their smiles could fill a room and their devotion to their lives, their family and their friends is to be admired. My work, my colleagues and my clients for which I am proud to be of service and give some of my skills to help others in need. For my health, i’m now feeling healthier than ever before in my life, after all my accidents and illnesses over the years, i’m now feeling strong and in charge of my life’s journey.

To the opportunities on hand and for those yet to come, i’m thankful. For nature’s beauty, for the brilliant sunrise this morning, for the blue sky i see right before my eyes as I write this post, for the clients i will meet with today, for the strangers I will share smiles with and for the positive energy I carry with me throughout my day.

Do you need to be White, American, Heterosexual, Gay, Black, Religious, Democrat, Republican or just mad to get freshly pressed on WordPress?

Published 02/11/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

Unknown-2

Well, I guess I do qualify for at least three of these and I am not going to share with you which three 🙂

Finding a voice on WordPress or any other form of social media is somewhat difficult, you may have or may feel you have a strong message or inspiring information to share with your fellow bloggers and the world, but unless you are noticed then, your message/s stay close to home.

Unknown-4images-10e

In my case, home is Shanghai China, I am not Chinese but I have lived and worked here for many years, I do love China, it’s people, its customs and it’s long history, sadly it is changing, some say for the better and some say for the worse, China is a land of great diversity and its history and culture has led to some of the greatest inventions in the world, the creativity of its people is amazing…but…of course there has to be a BUT…it’s going crazy…everyone is driven 24 x 7 to change, to work every hour of the day 7 days a week in order to earn more, buy more STUFF….the Stuff that is purchased each and every day in every country within our beautiful world….This Stuff, portrayed to us as life changing, a must have, you cannot survive without it etc…Hype, Marketing, sales promotions etc…..but to what end?

Unknown-3images-9

If i travel to more remote parts of China and the same in other countries in Asia,, the Americas or Europe I see with my own eyes communities that do not have much ‘Stuff’, they live  on a very small income, often farming their own small plots of land, living off what they grow and living happy lives, they ‘SMILE’ and they ‘GIVE’, these people we may say ‘do not have anything’ (No cars, no flat screem TV’s, no iPhones, no laptops, no LV, Gucci or Prada bags’, their children have hand made clothes or hand-me-downs, they use old tools to work their land with no modern machinery and they don’t every eat ‘Fast Food’, but these people are happy, they have smiles on their faces and they are mostly healthy, and if you were to visit them, they will hold out their hands and greet you warmly, they will share their food and give you shelter….

Happinessimages-8

Now, don’t get me wrong, this is not utopia, some of these people do struggle, often their family is broken up when a son or daughter goes off to the city in search of fame and fortune, or when the father goes off to the growing coastal cities to work in construction and send back the majority of his monthly salary to help keep his family….but when you see these family’s together, there is happiness 🙂 There are true smiles of joy, you can hear the laughter but you can also sometimes see ‘greed’ in a glint of an eye…This greed is brought on by the media, through advertising, through the messages sent to mobile phone and tablets every second of every day…..Who are you if you don’t have this?…If you want a girlfriend or boyfriend you must wear this or do that?…If you want to be seen you must go here?……The latest iphone is here..Oh Joy..give me your hard earned cash even though the one you have is only 3 months old?……..Oh your laptop is slow and wont run this program….Buy another, it’s easy and I will help you buy it with an easy payment plan?….

And on and on it goes…..

Media madness driving us crazy, pushing us to by more STUFF each and every day, our hard earned money being wasted time and time again, our cupboard full with clothes that we never wear, our homes full of technology that is still perfect but never used, our cars filled with more gadgets and gizmos that we don’t need or understand…..but we continue to buy without a thought!

The fat cats of industry get fatter, their yacht’s get bigger, their private jets faster and more luxurious and their office ivory towers more grand, all driven by the media, by hype and the fear factor….unless you have IT…You are a nobody!

greedwealth

My dear friends, I generalise and I am not against profit, or against the media or industry because we do need these things in our world, but at the same time we need some sanity, some realisation of what goes on in our neighbourhood, our cities, our country and in other countries around the world, we need to be aware of the hardships our brothers and sisters in other countries have to live with each and every day in order to help manufacture these things you are buying, often for less that a $ per day to put some simple food on their table and put a roof over their head for the night. The filthy polluted and undrinkable water they give their children to drink everyday because they have no other option, the diseases they have to endure and suffer from because they cannot afford the vaccines to protect them, and the wars raging in their countries which are most often fuelled by greed, greed for control of the land which is ‘Our’s and not your’s’ or for the commodities like oil and precious metals that lay beneath these lands.

images-3Unknownimages-5

Where is our world heading?

Why is it spinning out of control?

Why are our politicians and governments not listening?

Where will it all end?

We…my friends can make change…but we need to come together as ONE VOICE!

I Pledge Allegiance ….

The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it!

Published 01/11/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

Chinese Proverb

Our World, We are in this together, if we want things to change then ‘WE’ had better do something about it!

Some say “change cannot Happen”

Some say, “This is what life is, we need to live with it”

Some say, “Nothing can be done, they are stronger than us”

Some say, “I wish things were different”

Some say, “It’s not my problem”

Some say, “It’s their fault, they brought it on themselves”

When i read the news, watch the TV and listen to speeches regarding the problems of this world it makes me sad 😦 and I know I as one cannot wave a magic wand and make our world the perfect place to live. I alone cannot bring about world peace, end starvation, bring jobs to the jobless, solve the global financial crisis, cure disease and bring an end to war….however, I do know that i am one voice, one soul and I have a right as a human being of this planet to stand up and say…Enough is Enough!

We need change, we need our voices to be heard, we need our elected governments to listen, we need the corporations and the people that lead them to listen to our voices…..We need change….Not one person, not 100 people, not, 1,000 people but millions of like minded souls of this earth from different walks of life, from different countries, from different religions, with different languages  with different cultures need to be heard…….

Our world is in a self distructing spiral, spinning rapidly out of control, and the majority of people at the lower end of  the financial spectrum are the ones who are being hit the most and unless we fall into that category the majority of our worlds population pay no attention, they go about their days blinkered to the realities that are happening in our world…to our brothers and sisters, to our environment and to OUR world.

The Russell Brand interview on Newsweek that I posted yesterday got me thinking again and I thought, ‘WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, WE CAN MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN’ but we need to do it in every town, every city, every country and we need to speak as one, ONE GLOBAL VOICE which MUST be listened to, a voice of our world, none of us owns this planet, none of us including our governments own the lands we call our countries, not one country or government or corporation owns our oceans, no one owns our sky, our atmosphere and our space…we are only guests here, we are supposed to be custodians of this world we call home…..The problem is we have FORGOTTEN and we allow ourselves to be controlled to the extent that we no longer have a voice!

Listed below are a few people from different walks of life, from different religions, from different timelines in history, with different languages and cultures, all of which were instrumental in change…You may have more to add to this list and you may disagree that some of them should not be on this list at all…but who am I I to say if they deserve to be on this list or not!….It’s all down to choice.

208358_451146181605478_44759584_n

All I can say is….Like these people, we can make change but this time we need to do it together….as ONE GLOBAL VOICE.

Revolution or Change…Has Russell Brand got a point?

Revolution or change?…
Russell Brand is very passionate and he certainly has some powerful words and beliefs and for sure change needs to happen!
We don’t need a revolution to make change happen, but we do need to come together as humans who share a need for our planet to survive and for peace to become a reality not just a dream…I’m certainly up for change and I say we must to do something to make it happen!…The main problem is ‘Fear’, fear that we are not worthy, fear that the people we put into power in governments and corporations are better and stronger than us…We must remember that the only reason they are in power is because we allow them to be!Namaste my friends

The simple act of GIVING….What a difference it makes!

Published 31/10/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

Giving

The simple act of giving, to freely transfer the possession of (something) to (someone); hand over to without any expectation of something in return.

How often do you give?

Someone a call, a friend, a family member, a neighbour just to see if they are ok?

A donation to charity?

A gift of your time to someone in need?

Old possessions that you have been storing forever, that you thought maybe one day you will need?

A Smile to someone who has lost theirs 🙂 ?

Your unconditional Love?

Your talent? Trust me, you do have one; but maybe you have not sat down and discovered it yet!

Give in? …Forget the past or a problem and ‘Just Be’….to live in the now and Love who you are now!

1379377_604707092920141_1000887405_n

We ALL have something to give but we are all too preocupied with time, ”Oh, that’s so sad,Im going to donate”, “I would love to help out at the hospital but I don’t have time”, “I wish I had time to work at the soup kitchen”, “I wish something could be done to save our planet”, “If only someone would do something to stop wars and bring about peace”…..and on and on it goes….Time or the lack of it!

I wonder how much time we spend surfing the net? shopping, watching TV and texting each week?….Many hours I bet….

Now think…

You could seek out some old clothes, or some old furniture and donate it to your local care home, charity shop or drop in centre…..Just think of the smiles your donation will bring to someone in need!…

How good will you feel?

Pick up the phone book, search out your local charities, children’s hospitals, care homes, old folks homes etc and give them a call or just drop by and ask if you can offer your time…..

Cleaning up your neighbourhood, maybe section out a piece of your garden if you have some to spare and get the local kids to plant some flowers and vegetables, then give them to those in need or sell them and give the funds to charity….

The ideas are endless, if you only have time and the passion to just

GIVE……

What is Love and what does it mean to the future of our world?

Published 29/10/2013 by inspiringyourspirit

your-task-is-not-to-seek-for-love-quote-by-rumi-cool-for-you-rumi-quotes-about-true-love-750x1024

Every person on this planet experiences love and friendship to some extent during their lifetime. Love can be broken down into three basic areas according to its level of intensity, quality and its challenges.

The first form of love is friendship which is based on social conventions where two people behave in accordance with the principle: “I for myself, you for yourself; we love each other, but we have no expectations of each other.” This form of love is that of ordinary people, whose love relationships tend to be of this nature.

The second form of love is based on a more solid foundation, and those who live together usually experience this kind of love: “I for you, you for me; we love each other, having mutual expectations of each other.” This form of love includes profound love as well as the love found within most families, involving emotional give and take on a more or less equal footing.

The third kind of love transcends all conventions based on mutual expectations, being founded on the following principle: “I am for you, you are for whoever you choose; I accept whatever you want without any expectations whatsoever.”

But what about the love of mankind? The love for our planet? For our environment? And for the creatures living alongside us? How can we define this love and how is this love affected by hatred, cruelty, religious beliefs and greed!

Poets and authors have tried to define love for many centuries. Many of us know intuitively that love is a major purpose for living; that connection is inherent in all that we do, and without love, we cannot survive as a species.

• True Love is Caring. It cares for the other person, for the other creature and for the environment
• True Love is Attractive..Like attracts like. I we give love we are likely to receive love, like a smile and laughter they become infectious.
• True Love is Attached. Like the mother-child bond, attachment comes after the initial attraction. Attachment is the long-term love that appears anywhere. “I’ve seen the worst and the best you have to offer, and I still love you,” while your partner feels the same way.
• True Love is Committed. When it comes to true love, commitment is more than just monogamy. It’s the knowledge that your partner cares for you and has your back, no matter what the circumstances.
True Love is Intimate. Intimacy is a crucial component of all relationships, regardless of their nature. In order to know another, you need to share parts of yourself. This self-revealing behavior, when reciprocated, forms an emotional bond. Over time this bond strengthens and even evolves, so that two people merge closer and closer together.

Have we forgotten how to love?

We are all born with love in our hearts, unfortunately bad experiences and negative teachings / mind bending messages and negative thought patterns takes it away from us over the years, however the majority of people keep enough love inside their hearts to continue to love others, to care for others that they are not connected to or for that matter on the other side of the world, this form of love is often called compassion, we all need compassion in our hearts in order to make change. Just as wisdom covers the intellectual or comprehending side of our nature, compassion covers the emotional or feeling side of our nature. Like wisdom, compassion is a uniquely human quality. Compassion is made up of two words, ‘co’ meaning together and ‘passion’ meaning a strong feeling. And this is what compassion is. When we see someone in distress and we feel their pain as if it were our own, and strive to eliminate or lessen their pain, then this is compassion. So all the best in human beings, all the qualities like sharing, readiness to give comfort, sympathy, concern and caring – all are manifestations of compassion. You will notice also that in the compassionate person, care and love towards others has its origins in care and love for oneself. We can really understand others when we really understand ourselves. We will know what’s best for others when we know what’s best for ourselves. We can feel for others when we feel for ourselves. So, one’s own spiritual development blossoms quite naturally into concern for the welfare of others.

If we can open our eyes and our hearts, really take a look at the world we live in, see the suffering endured by our brothers and sisters around the world. Filter out our past beliefs, just for a moment and look at the people as fellow human beings, no difference in colour, creed or religious belief then…for one minute it may make a difference and we may open our hearts, our eyes and our minds to change, change for the benefit of all, change for the benefit of global peace, for our children and our children’s children….

My Spiritual Journey Part 5

My Spiritual Journey Part 5

My Dear Friends,

I’m so sorry that it has taken me so long to provide you all with an update to My Spiritual Journey, however the pain I got from writing Part 4 was so great that I felt literally lost for words and I found it so difficult to draw any enthusiasm to write Part 5 ☹

It has been so long since I placed electronic pen to paper and even now I am finding it difficult to have a clear mind and tell you more about my journey thus far but I do know that if I stick to it my spirit will come through and help me place these words on this social media writing tablet ☺

The passing of my father and my immediate accident took their tool on my health and my wellbeing, they also impacted my spiritual journey so much so that they now effect everything I do each and every day, I do get extremely saddened and frustrated by the sights I see and experience every day, especially those of negativity, hatred, death through wars, starvation and the general lack of compassion in our world. I do however gain great strength from the good, the light I see everyday, the smiles I see and the wonderful words I read through my fellow bloggers posts and their comments and replies to mine, these special wonders give me so much strength and forge me on to bigger and better things in my life.

I am; through my life’s experiences so much stronger, all I really need is to gain some inner strength to do what I really need and must do with my life, I need to stop procrastinating because once I do, the words just flow and I do really help people that are less fortunate than myself, I can and do offer support to the many and I am starting to fulfill my life’s destiny with growing vigor.

Since the passing of my father, I did go into a shadowed depressive state, outwardly I looked fine, I was strong for those that needed me and I continued my work with a cheery smile on my face, my clients, colleagues and family saw me as no different than before and I even became stronger and more helpful (in their eyes), however, inside I was dying, my experience of loosing my dear Father and my severe pain was so much to bare, the loss of my own dignity was hard for me to handle because I have always been the strong one, the leader, the father and the coach. I found it difficult to feel safe anymore, I was very careful when walking in the rain or on wet marble tiles, I held out my had for support and held the guard rail when walking down stairs, I became more nervous with heights, felt uneasy in crowds and aged about 30 years in the process. My dear wife May was and is always here for me, she did even more for me each day, she helped me through this period with a huge smile on her face and spoke softly to me when I needed comfort but not once did she criticize or get angry with me, she just allowed me to live and experience the time for I guess she knew me better than most and knew I would pull through with the help from her and my spiritual calling.

My spiritual feelings and intuitions went from strength to strength, each day something new would happen, people would be drawn to me from all over the world and my own law of attraction gained strength. I never sought out people to help me on my way, I did not actively look for information in books or on the internet, things just came to me, people would just come to me and all of a sudden everything made sense.

I had many experiences with mediums, clairvoyants and healers, now because I looked them out but they just happened to connect with me. Some of these ladies and gentlemen blew me away, their intuition, guiding and knowledge of me, my journey and my past lives were all 100% spot on and more importantly they all agreed on my journey, my pathway and my calling. I have always kept my thoughts to myself, I am a very humble man, I try to help everyone I come across, often to my detriment, although in saying that I also believe in Karma and the love of giving so I guess my gifts of giving and selflessness will return good for me in the end ☺

A friend of mine told me about a visiting Intuitive healer who was visiting Shanghai I will call her (Heather), so I booked an appointment with her, I duly turned up at her hotel a day or so later and she invited me in, sat me down on a massage table and asked me what I had come to see her for!..My simple answer, “I don’t really know”….She said would I like to do a past life regression, look at my future or for her to answer any specific questions…again my answer “ Sorry I don’t really know”. So Heather said well, let’s try hypnosis and see what we find together so I laid down on the table and we began, Heather gently started to hypnotize me, I thought to myself…. Ha, this is the same process I use to hypnotize, I know this method and there is no way she will hypnotize me…then…bang! I was floating on a cloud, high up in the mountains looking down on the earth, the sky was clear apart from the odd puffy white cloud and I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face as I lay out on the comfortable cloud, I was completely ‘At Peace with the World’….and then; all of a sudden a white light from above came straight down to me, the white light formed itself into a ball of spinning pure white and golden energy, my hands reached up and grasped the ball of light, I could hold the ball in my hands and as I explained the experience to Heather, the ball re-formed itself into a pyramid shape, which was spinning in my hands , the heat and radiance of the light was incredible, I could feel the energy, the sheer power that was entering my body at the point of contact to my body, straight to my heart! I was articulating this experience in minute detail to Heather which was great because she taped the session so I would have it to go back to when I need clarification on the message/s I received in the future. The energy and light became stronger, a hand reached down to me from the heavens, the hand was holding a sword which was pointing directly into my chest, into my heart, I reached up and grasped the hand and the sword and the light became brighter and the energy source even stronger, I was saying “ the energy is incredible, its coming directly down the sword and into my heart, its moving out through my chest, to my shoulders, to my arms to my hands, through my stomach to my hips, to my legs to my feet to my toes, I can feel the energy the vibration in every cell of my body”! My whole body began to shake, I was bouncing up and down on the massage table as I held the hand and sword while it channeled its/their energy down into my heart, into my body, this continued for what seemed to be a long time and all the time I was articulating the feeling, the sight, the sounds and the brilliance of the experience, messages were coming to me quickly, it was like a video tape was playing on fast forward through my mind, images flashing before my eyes, sounds and voices flashing through my mind and through my ears, images of the world, of our environment, of our people, our brothers and sisters in every far away land, starvation, global warming, wars, pollution, the disabled, children in severe poverty, every possible image and message of good over bad was flashing through my mind in quick succession….I began to cry out loud, to sob as I gave commentary to Heather as my journey unfolded right before her eyes, I then began to settle, the vibration slowed and the light and energy disappeared along with the hand and sword and I was still, silent on the table. I could hear the soft voice of Heather, she was calling me back, bringing me back and grounding me again!

As I sat up, I began to cry again as I relived the experience with Heather, we talked about the journey and the message/s, she said this had only every happened to her twice and, me and another gentleman in Malaysia and our experiences were almost identical.

Heather could not say why I had had this experience only that it was a message from God or one of the Arch Angels, probably Michael or Gabriel, for me it was another place on my journey another look at my future and more clarity as to what I need to do to help others in our world. I do know I am on a special journey, one in which I grasp with enthusiasm and love, I know I don’t know everything and I am learning more each and every day, I reach out my hands to the world and say “I am here, I am here for you and my heart and love is open to you all, I will learn from my experiences and share my love and compassion with anyone, regardless of race, colour, religious belief, to mankind and animals alike and I will do all I can to help heal our world” This is my message and is only still a part of my Spiritual Journey, Part 6 I do hope will follow soon and I promise I will try to bring you all up-to-date within part 6 or part 7.

So my dear friends, I bow to you all, my love and compassion is with you each and everyday, If I can be of help, please ask and I will ‘Always’ do all I can to support you on your spiritual journeys.

Namaste
With Love
Mark
