Observation & Judgement …..Your Mind and The Games We Have To Play

You have to be quicker than your own mind!

When you see yourself analysing or negatively judging what you observe in yourself, whether it is a thought,emotion, or attitude, be more clever than the one who is judging or analysing. Step back into the observer; observe the judge and don’t judge him. The judge becomes the object of your observation. Remember to make every disturbing element the object of your observation; in this way, the observer goes more deeply into observation each time, whereas if you see what comes as an obstacle to observation, it becomes one.

The more you are in the observer , the less importance the object you observe has. When you are in the state of the observer, , which is not the state of the dreamer, you observe what you decide to observe and are awake to the rest; otherwise this state of concentration leads to emptiness, but to a hollow emptiness. True emptiness is the emptiness of the observer who is detached from the mechanism and capable of taking in everything. Thoughts come and go in your emptiness, and it remains empty because nothing remains attached to it.  The observer sees everything, it remains tranquil, there are no negative emotions . Everything is handles rightly. Things pass, the observer can take them seriously or lightly, it is identified with nothing. Judgment belongs to the world of things that pass.

So keep on observing with no judgment my friends and have some fun with your mind.

I am this, I am that, Iot’s of Little , ‘I’s

My Dear Friends,

 

I was wondering how many times per day we say ‘I’ , I’,m not feeling well, I’m fed up, I dont’t agree, I don’t like that, I love you, I want that, I want this, I, I I…

The little ‘I’s, the personality is composed of countless fragments called little ‘I’s, all of which counted together form our image of ourselves.. These little ‘I’s, acting autonomously and often contradicting one other, take turns directing our personality – for example, the jealous ‘I’, the complaining ‘I’, the submissive ‘I’, the dominant ‘I’, etc. Without realising it, we can constantly take ourselves to be one of these little ‘I’s, which gives us the impression of being one, whereas we are in fact completely fragmented.

The Higher ‘I’, is the true nature of man, it is even further from his lower ‘I’ ( all of his little ‘I’s) than his essence. It gradually awakens in us as we develop our essence. this higher ‘I’ is composed of two higher parts of our being (the higher emotional center and the higher intellectual center ) which can only manifest when they receive nourishment of high quality, a nourishment that can only be provided by our essence. By purifying our lower ‘I’, our essence can develop and our higher emotional and intellectual centers can become active, allowing our higher ‘I’ to manifest.

Our Higher ‘I’ is at one with God, Source, your Higher Self, keep cultivating it and you will benefit from its awakening 🙂

My Dear Friends,

Oh my, I’ve been thinking again!…..

I don’t know what’s got a hold of me since i’ve been away, maybe it was the quietness of my retreat, the contact with nature, time on my own to reflect and be thankful for all I have in my life, who knows but it’s great to be back and thinking again 🙂

I was up early again this morning, jet lag has been far worse than normal this time and has been playing havoc with my sleep patterns 😦 Still, it does also have its blessings as being awake so early gives me time to just sit, to be at one with myself and to reflect and think. This morning’s topic was ‘Peace’ and what does that word really mean to me? It conjours up to sides for me, one is the obvious ‘world peace’ where all countries come together in harmony and bring about an end to conflicts between different cultures, religions and countries then the other is being ‘at peace’, peace within myself/yourself.

I don’t think many people actually find peace with themselves, they are always chasing around looking for something more for their lives, more money, a better job, bigger house, bigger car, a holiday, more clothes, a fancy watch, diamond ring, more education, just more and then more, also seeking happiness where ever they go, meeting new friends, going out more, socialising, building a dream, looking for love, looking for acceptance, looking for praise, looking and looking outside, a constant journey seeking out happiness and peace….but the reality is you wont find it outside, you wont find it in things, you wont find it in your travels, you wont find it in a bigger house or a new job or a new relationship…….

Happiness and peace are within…..

And once you come to terms with that then you can let go, you can free yourself of the chains that hold you back, you can become one with yourself, you can start to love yourself and find your true self, your happiness and your inner peace.

Take time out today my friends, take time to just be you, take time to sit with yourself and just be the wonderful you 🙂

Words of Inspiration, Where Do They Come From?

My Dear Friends,

It has been a few weeks since my fingers hit this keyboard and linked to my mind in order to bring about a post to you on endlesslightandlove.com . I’m truly sorry for this absence of leave and I hereby take up my responsibilities for this blog once again and endeavour to bring you a today.

I have been travelling for the past few weeks, keeping myself out of trouble, connecting with nature, meditating and gaining some most needed spiritual rest. The past year has been challenging but good and my life is a joy so I have everything to be grateful for.

This got me thinking……Where do my words come from?

Im not an avid reader, I do read books and articles from time to time but they are mainly to do with my work and my spiritual beliefs, I don’t really enjoy writing and if i sit down and try to think of something to write about my mind goes blank, so I guess I’m as the old saying goes; ‘Lost for words’! So where do my blog posts come from; where do my poems, my words of inspiration come from?……..

I channel, I’m part of the global ‘Open to Channel’ OTC program that is created and presented by my dearest heart teacher and mentor ‘In’ Easa Mabu Ishtar’. We are a collective of students from all around the world who have different backgrounds, cultures, languages and religious beliefs who come together for the OTC program and channel from the Ascended and Enlightened Masters, we learn to open our channel and receive, information can come to us in various forms, it can be words, knowledge, mandala’s, written or graphical text, hieroglyphics, pictures, music etc, whatever the Masters deem important for us and humanity at that given time is received through our channel. I have personally received words, mandalas, sounds in the form of music, chanting in another language unknown to me, texts in a hieroglyphic format, mantras and graphical images, also channeled are answers to questions/problems etc that may come to me at another time and the answers come to me at the right moment in order to help someone out that maybe I have not even met yet!

So back to my original question…Where do my words come from?….Maybe some of them do come from this body, this consciousness and maybe some others come to me from the Ascended Masters, from Higher beings, from the Angels, Arch Angels or even from my own Ascended family members! Often I sit and think about this, I write a post and wonder ‘where did those words come from, i often sit and re-read a post and at the end think, Did I just write that!

Who knows!…..I’m just a humble man, I’m not seeking any fame or fortune, I don’t receive any income from this blog, I don’t receive any payment for any of my posts or for my time….All I know is, I write, I post and I try to help those in need as often as I can, my door is always open and my ears are always open to listen with the intent to try to understand and I offer my support to those who reach out to me.

So, I will continue to channel, I will continue on my own spiritual journey, I will always be there for anyone who needs my help and I will always offer my hand and my love to help humanity, mother earth and our environment.

It’s great to be back and amongst those whom I love 🙂

Perplexity over Delusion

Opening doors to their hearts, brought a wonderful change to this young mans Life!

I came across this wonderful video story of a young mans life of torment, he suffered bullying at his middle school after the death of his father, his life was in turmoil and he was in so much pain from endless bouts of mental and physical cruelty.

But one day Josh did something different, he opened a door and became the ‘Doorman’……Please watch this short video story of Josh’s life and I doubt you will be able to keep tears from your eyes.

Are Your Feeling Caged In By Your Life?

Early one evening, while walking down the hill, I noticed a middle school with its Iron Gates tightly closed and locked. This scene led me to reflect on the way in which many people lead their lives. They attend school and are caged within the confines of the school gates, they find a partner, enter into a relationship or get married, and are caged in by that relationship, they go to work and are caged in by the constraints within the company, they die, and are caged in a box.

Being caged is due to not only external factors but also by emotional and ego mind factors. Throughout our lives, we seem to be building barriers and caging ourselves in to our own little world and proudly locking ourselves in!

Do you feel caged in by the constraints of your life, or are you as free as a bird, living your life with a smile on your face and love in your heart?

A Letter to a Friend Who Was Asking For Advice

I read this letter and felt if was worthy of a post, the letter was written by Hunter S. Thomposon to his friend  Hume roughly 57 years ago.

Roughly 57 years ago, a 22-year-old Hunter S. Thompson wrote a letter to a friend that had asked him for advice. On the surface, this doesn’t seem like a big deal – 57 years ago letters were just how people communicated. What stands out to me is the fact that Thompson wrote this letter way before anyone really knew who he was. The letter, in my opinion, is a pure statement of faith, written by one of the most influential writers of our time, solely for the purpose of helping his friend. I know the letter wasn’t written to me, but I still read it like it was.

Dear Hume,

You ask advice: ah, what a very human and very dangerous thing to do! For to give advice to a man who asks what to do with his life implies something very close to egomania. To presume to point a man to the right and ultimate goal — to point with a trembling finger in the RIGHT direction is something only a fool would take upon himself.

I am not a fool, but I respect your sincerity in asking my advice. I ask you though, in listening to what I say, to remember that all advice can only be a product of the man who gives it. What is truth to one may be disaster to another. I do not see life through your eyes, nor you through mine. If I were to attempt to give you specific advice, it would be too much like the blind leading the blind.

“To be, or not to be: that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, or to take arms against a sea of troubles … ” (Shakespeare)

And indeed, that IS the question: whether to float with the tide, or to swim for a goal. It is a choice we must all make consciously or unconsciously at one time in our lives. So few people understand this! Think of any decision you’ve ever made which had a bearing on your future: I may be wrong, but I don’t see how it could have been anything but a choice however indirect — between the two things I’ve mentioned: the floating or the swimming.

But why not float if you have no goal? That is another question. It is unquestionably better to enjoy the floating than to swim in uncertainty. So how does a man find a goal? Not a castle in the stars, but a real and tangible thing. How can a man be sure he’s not after the “big rock candy mountain,” the enticing sugar-candy goal that has little taste and no substance?

The answer — and, in a sense, the tragedy of life — is that we seek to understand the goal and not the man. We set up a goal which demands of us certain things: and we do these things. We adjust to the demands of a concept which CANNOT be valid. When you were young, let us say that you wanted to be a fireman. I feel reasonably safe in saying that you no longer want to be a fireman. Why? Because your perspective has changed. It’s not the fireman who has changed, but you. Every man is the sum total of his reactions to experience. As your experiences differ and multiply, you become a different man, and hence your perspective changes. This goes on and on. Every reaction is a learning process; every significant experience alters your perspective.

So it would seem foolish, would it not, to adjust our lives to the demands of a goal we see from a different angle every day? How could we ever hope to accomplish anything other than galloping neurosis?

The answer, then, must not deal with goals at all, or not with tangible goals, anyway. It would take reams of paper to develop this subject to fulfillment. God only knows how many books have been written on “the meaning of man” and that sort of thing, and god only knows how many people have pondered the subject. (I use the term “god only knows” purely as an expression.) There’s very little sense in my trying to give it up to you in the proverbial nutshell, because I’m the first to admit my absolute lack of qualifications for reducing the meaning of life to one or two paragraphs.

I’m going to steer clear of the word “existentialism,” but you might keep it in mind as a key of sorts. You might also try something called “Being and Nothingness” by Jean-Paul Sartre, and another little thing called “Existentialism: From Dostoyevsky to Sartre.” These are merely suggestions. If you’re genuinely satisfied with what you are and what you’re doing, then give those books a wide berth. (Let sleeping dogs lie.) But back to the answer. As I said, to put our faith in tangible goals would seem to be, at best, unwise. So we do not strive to be firemen, we do not strive to be bankers, nor policemen, nor doctors. WE STRIVE TO BE OURSELVES.

But don’t misunderstand me. I don’t mean that we can’t BE firemen, bankers, or doctors — but that we must make the goal conform to the individual, rather than make the individual conform to the goal. In every man, heredity and environment have combined to produce a creature of certain abilities and desires — including a deeply ingrained need to function in such a way that his life will be MEANINGFUL. A man has to BE something; he has to matter.

As I see it then, the formula runs something like this: a man must choose a path which will let his ABILITIES function at maximum efficiency toward the gratification of his DESIRES. In doing this, he is fulfilling a need (giving himself identity by functioning in a set pattern toward a set goal), he avoids frustrating his potential (choosing a path which puts no limit on his self-development), and he avoids the terror of seeing his goal wilt or lose its charm as he draws closer to it (rather than bending himself to meet the demands of that which he seeks, he has bent his goal to conform to his own abilities and desires).

In short, he has not dedicated his life to reaching a pre-defined goal, but he has rather chosen a way of life he KNOWS he will enjoy. The goal is absolutely secondary: it is the functioning toward the goal which is important. And it seems almost ridiculous to say that a man MUST function in a pattern of his own choosing; for to let another man define your own goals is to give up one of the most meaningful aspects of life — the definitive act of will which makes a man an individual.

Let’s assume that you think you have a choice of eight paths to follow (all pre-defined paths, of course). And let’s assume that you can’t see any real purpose in any of the eight. THEN — and here is the essence of all I’ve said — you MUST FIND A NINTH PATH.

Naturally, it isn’t as easy as it sounds. You’ve lived a relatively narrow life, a vertical rather than a horizontal existence. So it isn’t any too difficult to understand why you seem to feel the way you do. But a man who procrastinates in his CHOOSING will inevitably have his choice made for him by circumstance.

So if you now number yourself among the disenchanted, then you have no choice but to accept things as they are, or to seriously seek something else. But beware of looking for goals: look for a way of life. Decide how you want to live and then see what you can do to make a living WITHIN that way of life. But you say, “I don’t know where to look; I don’t know what to look for.”

And there’s the crux. Is it worth giving up what I have to look for something better? I don’t know — is it? Who can make that decision but you? But even by DECIDING TO LOOK, you go a long way toward making the choice.

If I don’t call this to a halt, I’m going to find myself writing a book. I hope it’s not as confusing as it looks at first glance. Keep in mind, of course, that this is MY WAY of looking at things. I happen to think that it’s pretty generally applicable, but you may not. Each of us has to create our own credo — this merely happens to be mine.

If any part of it doesn’t seem to make sense, by all means call it to my attention. I’m not trying to send you out “on the road” in search of Valhalla, but merely pointing out that it is not necessary to accept the choices handed down to you by life as you know it. There is more to it than that — no one HAS to do something he doesn’t want to do for the rest of his life. But then again, if that’s what you wind up doing, by all means convince yourself that you HAD to do it. You’ll have lots of company.

Loneliness

Sometimes I just sit alone and think, often thinking too much about my life, the people around me, my family, my friends, my work colleagues, spending too much time overthinking and allowing my ego mind to have it’s way with me!

Our days are filled with wasted time, hour after hour our mind ticks over, relentlessly sending us it’s opinions based upon our thoughts on the things we see, hear and fell, judging this and judging that, telling us to hate this person, stay away from that person, beware and fear this or that and holding us back from living our lives to the full.

Somedays our hearts are totally controlled by our mind, we feel lost and alone, its like something is missing from our heart, like a lost loved one, something is missing and causing us pain, we become tearful, agitated, anxious and sometimes so down that we just don’t want to get up or go out, the feeling is so strong that it controls our very being and stops us from moving forward with our lives.

Loneliness and the lack of love for ourselves feeds our ego mind, it fuels its fire and allows damaging thoughts to be generated at a rapid speed, negativity reigns supreme when the ego mind is at play, controlling our very being.

When your feeling down and lonely, its hard to pick yourself up when the ego mind is holding you down , twisting your mind with its negativity, pumping your body full of non-productive, suppressing ideas as to how you should live your life, it’s in total control…but how do we break free from the clutches of our ego mind?

Well, in my case, meditation is the key, it brings me peace and allows me to break free of the chains that my ego mind has wrapped around my soul, meditation takes me to a place of peace, to a solitude of silence where I can connect with my soul, with my Divine Self and where I can take back my life from the clutches of this egotistic mind that is at play with me.

If you suffer from any form of loneliness, unhappiness, anxiety in your life then please try meditation, seek out someone to help you, to guide you in the early stages of your practice……feel free once again and regain your happiness, then start living your life of joy 🙂

Touching on Love Again!

Ah, here I am again talking about love 🙂

But what is love?

I have posted about Love so many times, love for self, love for others, unconditional love etc……

But when i sit down, meditate and go into my heart centre i realise that most of us are under the wrong impression of what love really is!

Oh my!, What am I letting myself in for now!…..I guess I will get lots of replies stating…’Rubbish Post’,……. Love is….etc!

Well, here goes anyway 🙂

To me, Love is everything, Love is with us from the day we are conceived because our mother gives us the love from her body to help carry us through the pregnancy period; until the day that we are born, then we receive the love from our parent/s, our siblings, our families… we receive love from our friends, our colleagues and from our experiences in life.

Love is all around…..So we should be happy, right?

Actually, the next time your sitting with your dog or your cat, take a proper look at the feeling, the sensation and their energy towards you, they are in fact giving you love, unconditional love, especially from the dog. Cat’s.. well, they have their own opinions on life and will give you their love when they are ready, but a dog’s love is unconditional and always!….Then take a long look at your life, where is your love? how do you show your love? do you love yourself?…I don’t mean how you look in a mirror, but deep down, Do you love who you are?, What you stand for and where you are going with your life?

I often ask my friends:-

What is important to your life,

What do you feel is missing from your life?,

What are you seeking, looking for in your life?

And the answers are:

Love

Happiness

Success

But love comes, and it goes…We think and believe that love is just a relationship thing between two people, a partnership, a marriage etc,…and then, when that love goes away, we are left in a mess, often deep down in depression, bringing anxiety, unhappiness and sadness to our life ……

So! How many of us actually love ourselves?…..

Actually not that many of us because most of us don’t love the way we look, we are not happy with our weight, body shape, we are either too tall or too short, too much hair or (in my case lack of hair) 🙂 We don’t love our jobs, we don’t love our daily lives, we don’t love our homes and, on and on the lack of love for ourselves goes on causing us to be unhappy with who we are……

Well! , let me tell you something.

If you don’t love yourself then how do you expect to attract love into your life?

So, pick yourself up, start a new page and take another look at yourself…..What’s not to love!……..Right?

You are a Divine being, you are a wonderful creation, you are love itself!…And the sooner you realise this and make this your daily mantra then the sooner you can start enjoying your life, attracting more love into your daily life then bringing about happiness and then achieving all the success you truly want in your life.

So, if you are going to say  ‘Rubbish Post’ then fine, but if for one second you feel you are not 100% happy with the love in your life and the love for yourself; then please take a long look at yourself, see who you really are, connect with your Divine Self, connect with your heart and see the love, then share the love and …Love….Will come right back at ya 🙂

Bringing Unconditional Love Back to Our World, One Person at a Time

What does unconditional love mean to you?

For most of us we think it is simply the love between two human beings, love of a partner, a husband, wife, child or friend but unconditional love is actually much more than that, it transpires the relationship between two human beings into the realms of love that are sadly missing from our daily lives, our relationships between religions, our relationships between countries, our relationships between race, colour and creed. Most of the conflicts in our relationships arise because of our greed, our desires and our expectations, and, when both parties are selfish and self-centered, they do not remain in a relationship for long as the suffering becomes greater, distance comes about until total separation is the end result. The ideal relationship is that which is based upon mutual unconditional love and respect. It is as difficult as finding an ideal saintly human being upon earth. We cannot practice it if we have desires and expectations and if we are guided by fear, egoism, greed and self-interest.

We may study scriptures and participate in intellectual debates, but it will serve no purpose if we do not have a loving heart. We may judge others based on the religious morality we learn. But it is of no use in our own spiritual development, if we do not follow it ourselves and validate it based upon our own experience. Religious dogma is not meant to develop a blind following, but rather a deep curiosity to search for truth.
Unconditional love or our infinite innate capacity to love others unconditionally, can take us beyond the mortal plane into the realm of the immortal gods. When you go beyond desire-ridden judgments and selfish expectations and accept people and things with love and compassion, you earned the right to reach the abode of God. When you do not act with moral superiority and religious prejudice, you become a source of love and healing to others.

As human beings, we all have our weaknesses. We are incapable of exhibiting the virtuous qualities of God in our ordinary selves. However, our weaknesses and imperfections can be overcome if we strive to transcend our lower nature with abundant faith and love in God and cultivate the single most important virtue of unconditional love. Unconditional love can arise only in a mind that is truly detached, that has no preference and is established in equanimity and oneness.

Therefore, bring love into your life and radiate it unconditionally, like a flower radiates its fragrance, by cultivating detachment and equanimity of the mind. Accept everything that comes into your life as part of your divine creation and as a part of your destiny. Build relationships not for mutual satisfaction of wants and desires, but for the sake of unconditional love, without expecting anything in return.

First, practice it towards those whom you may harbor negativity and resentment of those whom you find difficult to forgive. Learn to forgive them and let go of your feelings of hurt and indignation. Then gradually spread the same attitude towards one and all. As part of your practice, you should radiate your love in your daily life towards one and all, and try to be forgiving and helpful. If you start practicing these suggestions, slowly you develop a compassionate heart, which will open the doors of God’s unconditional love to you.

If you look carefully, most things in creation already practice unconditional love. It is usually humans who have difficulty in practicing it because we are the subjects of freewill, desires and attachment. A tree does not choose whom to give its fruit. It is we who build a fence around it. A well does not choose whom to give water. A river does not choose whose boat it will carry. A flower does not choose to whom it will spread its fragrance. The sun and moon do not choose to whom to radiate their warmth and light.

God’s unconditional love manifests when we silence our desires and suspend our judgment. Both are difficult to practice. When they are absent, God’s love manifests itself. It is in the silent heart of a Buddhist Monk, an Ascetic Yogi, Priest, Pastor, Cleric, Brahman, holy person that the unconditional love wells up.

Universal Love….

Every religion in the world today talks about love, peace and harmony, to love your brothers and sisters, to do good unto men

  • Greater love has no one than this, that he laid down his life for his friends. John 15:13
  • God is love, and he who lives in love, lives in God and God in him 1 John 4:14
  • God loves you no matter who you are. He will cover you within his feathers. Under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
  • These is only one love that loves unconditionally-The love of the Divine.
  • Love is patient, love is kind, love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it’s own way, it is not irritable or resentful, it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

These persons have an appreciation, sensitivity, and an understanding of life

What Beliefs Are We Feeding Our Children?

How do our children learn to hate, become racist, judgemental or prejudiced?

We all come into this world innocent, we don’t harbour any belief systems, we don’t hold any hate in our hearts, we see every other human being as the same as us, we make friends easily irrespective of social, religious or ethnic differences and we love each other unconditionally…..

…….So what goes wrong, how do we learn these behavioural and emotional traits?

As parents, grandparents and siblings, it is our duty to help our children to grow, to learn and to evolve, to help them achieve the best life they can and live their lives in peace with love and compassion in their hearts, this is our duty…..

Is it yours?……….

Be a part of your child’s life, show them the right ways in life, allow them to meet with and integrate with other children from other religious backgrounds, countries and cultures, take them out and show them the wonders of mother nature, let them feel the warm sun on their skin, the rain on their face and the grass beneath their feet, teach them to respect nature and all it glory, teach them to love animals as equals and to foster if you can.

Our planet is under great threat, humanity, and our natural resources are under great threat, these threats including global warming, famine, severe water shortages and wars between countries, religions and ethnic races are just a part of these threats, animals are becoming extinct, wiped out from the face of this earth due to greed and we,…and our children can turn it around….

We can make a difference,

We can bring back love, compassion and a true sense of brotherhood for mankind…… for the benefit of us all!
